Ajay Devgn’s latest film, Maidaan, is now streaming on OTT as Amazon Prime Video has added the biographical sports drama to its growing list of Bollywood films. Released in April this year, the movie chronicles the life of legendary Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who shaped modern Indian football and coached the national team for over a decade. Currently, the movie is available only in Hindi with English subtitles, with no information yet on versions in other languages. The film’s compelling storyline, anchored by exceptional performances from Ajay Devgn and the talented ensemble, alongside its meticulous attention to historical moments have all contributed to its critical success. Despite its cinematic merits, Maidaan underperformed at the box office due to competition from other releases.

श्योपुर के कोतवाली थाने में पदस्थ एक प्रधान आरक्षक की रिश्वतखोरी का वीडियो बुधवार को दोपहर सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ है। इस वीडियो में प्रधान आरक्षक अजय दोहरे एक्सीडेंट के मामले का चालान कोर्ट में पेश करने के एवज में 8 हजार रुपए की रिश्वत लेते हुए दिख. अब वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद कोतवाली थाने के स्टाफ में हड़कंप मचा हुआ है। एसपी अभिषेक आनंद ने वीडियो सामने आने के बाद आरोपी आरक्षक को निलंबित करके जांच शुरू करा दी है।ऐसे मामलों में 50 हजार तक लेते हैंवायरल हो रहे वीडियो में एक व्यक्ति बाइक से एक्सीडेंट होने के बाद कोर्ट में चालान जल्दी पेश कराने के लिए हेड कांस्टेबल अजय दोहरे से शुरुआत में बात कर रहा है।प्रधान आरक्षक अजय दोहरे ने उससे माल निकालने के लिए कहा, इस पर उक्त व्यक्ति ने जेब से 500, 500 के नोट निकालकर 8 हजार रुपए हेड कोस्टेबल के हाथ में रख दिए। इस पर पुलिसकर्मी कहने लगता है कि ऐसे मामलों में हम 50-50 हजार रुपए लेते हैं। संबंधित व्यक्ति बोला भैया में गरीब आदमी हूं बड़ी मुश्किलों से यह इंतजाम करके लाया हूं।8 हजार रुपए देख बोला पुलिसकर्मी, इतने में से टीआई को क्या दूंगाचालान पेश कराने में एवज में 8 हजार रुपए की रिश्वत मिलने के बाद कोतवाली थाने में पदस्थ पुलिस कर्मी अजय दोहरे रुपए देने वाले व्यक्ति से कहने लगा कि इतने से रुपए से क्या होगा, अब तुम बताओ टीआई को इसमें से क्या दूंगा। मिस्त्री वगैरा की रिपोर्ट भी बनवानी पड़ेगी। अब वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद आरोपी पुलिसकर्मी को निलंबित कर दिया गया है।इनका क्या कहना हैइस बारे में एएसपी सतेंद्र सिंह तोमर का कहना है कि कोतवाली के जिस हेड कांस्टेबल का रिश्वत के मामले का वीडियो सामने आया है, उसे निलंबित कर दिया गया है। आगे की जांच की शुरू कर दी गई है।

The results of the elections for the 18th Lok Sabha have torpedoed the predictions by the experts of exit polls that had given Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party yet another commanding mandate. The Opposition INDIA bloc, especially the Congress, ridiculed and dismissed by Mr Modi and his peers, large segments of the supine media fraternity and psephologists, has performed creditably. And the message from the aam aadmi has been one against hubris and arrogance that have undoubtedly been features of Mr Modi’s style of functioning. It would be interesting to see whether the reduced mandate has a tempering effect on Mr Modi during his third term. A vibrant Opposition and a Central government cut to size could augur well for the future of federalism and democracy in India.
