Ajay Devgn’s latest film, Maidaan, is now streaming on OTT as Amazon Prime Video has added the biographical sports drama to its growing list of Bollywood films. Released in April this year, the movie chronicles the life of legendary Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who shaped modern Indian football and coached the national team for over a decade. Currently, the movie is available only in Hindi with English subtitles, with no information yet on versions in other languages. The film’s compelling storyline, anchored by exceptional performances from Ajay Devgn and the talented ensemble, alongside its meticulous attention to historical moments have all contributed to its critical success. Despite its cinematic merits, Maidaan underperformed at the box office due to competition from other releases.
