The Rotaract Club of Medilag Golden, in collaboration with the Origami Society Nigeria, visited the cancer paediatric ward and other paediatric wards in Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) to engage the children in the art of creating origami. The goal behind the initiative, according to the president of the Rotaract Club of Medilag Golden, Princewill Onyekah, was to identify ways to support children admitted in hospitals, which finally led to the discovery of origami in children’s health. The project director of Rotaract Club of Medilag Golden, Somto Mbama, stated that origami is one avenue that provides both mental and physical stimulus with exercise. Dr John Adenle, chairman of the Origami Society Nigeria, stated that origami is one of the easiest forms of art, since it is made from paper. Some caregivers in the wards, parents, nurses, and the like were also engaged in learning the art of origami.

Since the perpetrators are radical Christians of Igbo land, the Nigeria Christians are running a silence marathon. There have been many attempts to make Igbo Muslims look into ethnicity when the Muslim community in Igbo land is attacked. All these are methods by radical Igbo Christians to divide and conquer. It is important to know that Igbo Muslims are called “Hausa” in Igbo land by their ethnic relatives: “Onye awusa” (singular) for Hausa person/individual and “Ndi awusa” (plural) for Hausa people.

Sir: SS – Segun Sango (born Segun Aderemi) wrote his own epitaph. He dreamt the working class socialist revolution; he spoke and worked for it; and he lived an exemplanary life of a true revolutionist. Both in theory and praxis, he was a Nigerian version of truly dedicated world-class revolutionaries who built cadres across generations. A man of steel, he was strong in illness, such that he lived for years with debilitating illness. Other comrades and the radical and revolutionary movement owe him lots of gratitude too.
