Davido laments after show promoter duped him in Italy
Globally-recognised Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has lamented after a show promoter allegedly duped him in Italy. 200 APC secretariat workers without employment letters, vice chair alleges
The North-West National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mallam Salihu Lukman, on Friday expressed concerns that more than 200 employees are working at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja without valid letters of employment. This was as he expressed concerns that there were some alleged liabilities incurred for legal cases handled without valid contracts. Apart from the fact that there were more than 200 employees in the party’s national secretariat, most of whom are without valid letters of employment, there were no standardised conditions of service. There were claims by legal firms about liability owed for legal cases handled without valid contracts. It is also clear that apart from the directors, there are many workers in the secretariat that should go.

Flight with 22 people on board missing in Nepal: airline
A passenger plane went missing in Nepal early on Sunday with 22 people on board, its airline said. The Twin Otter aircraft took off from the western town of Pokhara at 9:55 am (0410 GMT) but soon lost contact with air traffic control. “A domestic flight bound for Jomsom from Pokhara has lost contact,” Sudarshan Bartaula, spokesman for Tara Air, told AFP. Phanindra Mani Pokharel, a spokesman at the Ministry of Home Affairs, said two helicopters have been deployed for a search operation. Jomsom is a popular trekking destination in the Himalayas about 20 minutes by plane from Pokhara, which lies west of Kathmandu.
