Varanasi news: 'नमो घाटÓ का प्रस्ताव पास, रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज
वाराणसी(ब्यूरो)।:नगर निगम कार्यकारिणी ने बुधवार को बड़ा महत्वपूर्ण फैसला लिया।आदिकेशव घाट व राजघाट,भैंसासुर घाट के बीच पुनर्विकसित घाट का नामकरण'नमो घाटÓकरने का प्रस्ताव स्वीकार कर लिया गया।इस प्रकार नमो घाट नगर निगम के अभिलेखों में दर्ज हो गया।उपसभापति नरङ्क्षसह दास ने प्रस्ताव रखा,जिसे मेयर अशोक कुमार तिवारी समेत कार्यकारिणी समिति के सभी सदस्यों ने सर्वसम्मति से स्वीकृति दे दी।दूसरे फेज में बने नमो घाट का15नवंबर को देव दीपावली पर उपराष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ लोकार्पण करेंगे।कार्यकारिणी समिति की बैठक मेयर की अध्यक्षता में नगर निगम सभागार में हुई।इस दौरान पिछले दिनों शासन के वाहन स्टैंडों का किराया बढ़ाए जाने व नई नियमावली जारी करने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी गई।राजस्व विभाग ने नगर निगम के आवासों में रह रहे आवंटियों के बारे में प्रस्ताव रखा।बताया कि नगर निगम के243आवास हैं।इसमें वर्तमान में नगर निगम कर्मी मात्र55हैं। 66आवासों में सेवानिवृत्त,स्थानांतरित,मृत कर्मियों के परिवार रहते हैं।साथ ही85आवास आम नागरिकों को आवंटित हैं। 37आवासों में अवैध रूप से लोग निवास कर रहे हैं।राजस्व विभाग ने बताया कि आवंटियों को15वर्ष के लिए पूर्व में आवंटन के तहत अनुबंध किया गया था,जिसकी समय सीमा पूर्ण हो चुकी है।कार्यकारिणी समिति ने इस संबंध में निर्णय लिया कि अनुबंध की समय सीमा पूर्ण हो जाने के फलस्वरूप सभी को नोटिस जारी किया जाए।साथ ही बाजार दर व डीएम सर्किल रेट का परीक्षण कर नियमानुसार किराया निर्धारित किया जाए।पुन:अनुबंध की कार्यवाही की जाए।प्रस्ताव को नगर निगम के अधिनियम1959की धारा91(1)की उपविधि का प्रस्ताव रखा गया।इसमें कार्यकारिणी समिति ने इस शर्त के साथ पारित किया गया कि भविष्य में किसी भी प्रकार का परिवर्तन का अधिकार कार्यकारिणी व सदन में होगा।बैठक में नगर आयुक्त अक्षत वर्मा,अपर नगर आयुक्त राजीव कुमार राय,संयुक्त नगर आयुक्त कृष्णचंद्र,मुख्य अभियंता मोईनुद्दीन,महाप्रबंधक जलकल अनूप ङ्क्षसह,सचिव ओपी ङ्क्षसह आदि उपस्थित रहे

Amaravati projects set for revival with Rs 15k cr loan
VIJAYAWADA: Amaravati’s long-stalled construction projects are set for a revival with a substantial Rs 15,000 crore loan from the World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB). Officials from the Union Finance Department, CRDA, and Amaravati Development Corporation (ADC), along with representatives from the World Bank and ADB, completed the loan terms to advance Amaravati’s urban development. The ADB board will meet on December 11, followed by the World Bank on December 17. Bhaskar disclosed that the loan includes a five-year moratorium on repayment for Rs 13,500 crore, with the Centre covering the remaining amount. Additionally, a tender for a continuous online river water quality monitoring station in Amaravati has been announced as part of the project.
