Mr Asilenu was a herbalist whose prime focus during his lifetime was on plant medicine for fertility. In 2017, the late Asilenu expressed his interest in having more children till he departs from the world. After his demise in February 2021, his children are pushing for the world record documentation outfit to recognize their father for his procreative ability. Oscar Asilenu, a son of the late herbalist in an interview with TV3 said, "We are not happy. Therefore, we think his name should be in the Guinness book of records," he said.

The 26th General Assembly of ARSO declared Prof. Dodoo president-elect of the intergovernmental body following Ghana’s unanimous win in the elections.

According to the drivers, the government was being insensitive to their working conditions by increasing fuel prices at a time when they were not allowed to operate at full capacity. He noted they would be forced to increase transport fares if the fuel prices are not reduced as soon as possible. You asked us to reduce the number of passengers and yet, you keep increasing fuel prices. We want to appeal to the government to reduce fuel prices or allow us to increase the number of passengers.

He made these revelations whiles speaking in an interview with Alfred Ocansey on 3FM’s Morning show on Tuesday June 22, 2021. "So for now, I could say from January to June, that is the first half of 2021, we might be recording not less than 200 attacks on mobile money agents," he stressed. Otumfuo added that as a result of these attacks, huge sums of money have been taken from most of their agents. Within the wider context of rising insecurity in the country, attacks on mobile money vendors have been identified as one of the common violent crimes recorded nationwide.

The new Land (Act 1036) 2020 which was passed by Parliament and assented by the President into law in December last year was to consolidate existing laws on land administration to ensure sustainable management and effective land tenure practices. Addressing participants at a national symposium on the New Land Act on June 23, Dr Bawumia said government was hinged on leveraging the use of technology to digitise land administration in the country. He however attributed high interest rates and slow development of the mortgage market in the country as part of the challenges associated to ensuring a swift implementation land administration act. Dr Bawumia added that the website of the Lands Commission will be updated monthly with regard to land registration to avoid the tendency of lands being sold multiple times to unsuspecting members of the public.

Agnes crawls 1.5 kilometres on her knees to school daily through a rough road and back. Agnes Mba is a class one pupil at Dasabligo Primary School in the Nabdam District. Agnes, therefore, crawls on her knees to school on daily basis. Madam Christiana Azuyema is the class one teacher of the School and she tells us how active and participatory Agnes is in class. For now, Agnes would have to continue to crawl to school until any assistance comes her way.

She iterated that the challenges facing women in the country requires a multi-faceted and all-hands-on-deck approach from all relevant stakeholders including queen mothers. Speaking on behalf of the queen mothers, Nana Amponsah, Dokua III who is the President of the Queen Mothers platform commended the ministry for the program and express that the partnership between the queen mothers and the ministry will be of great benefit to the country. The power distributor announced that the timetable is expected to start from Monday, June 28, 2021. According to the ECG, the outages will pave way for the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) to finish maintenance work on some bulk supply points and transmission cables in Accra. GRIDCo’s intended repairs on Monday, June 28, 2021, will bring about an upgrade in the Volta-Achimota-Mallam transmission lines. This development will however affect the supply of electricity to some 71 communities within Accra. The managing director of ECG, Kwame Agyeman-Budu, in a press briefing on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, said his outfit is working around the clock to provide a reliable power supply for the country.

“Analysis conducted to determine the impact of COVID-19 on electricity demand in 2020 showed that there was a dip in demand during the partial lockdown, attributed to reduced activities in the industrial and service sectors.”“However, following the easing of restrictions and the announcement of electricity relief by the government on April 11, 2020, system demand returned to normal such that electricity demand in 2020 grew by 10.2 percent over that of 2019,” portions of the report noted. It added that despite the easing of coronavirus-related restrictions in 2020, demand for energy supply across the country did not affect the load and distribution trend for the country. The report revealed system peak demand for 2020 was 3,090 MW (megawatts) an increase of 10.2 percent above the 2019 peak and almost equal to the 10.3 percent annual growth rate of system peak demand in the last five years. “Installed generation capacity, excluding embedded capacity, at the end of 2020 was 5,134 MW, an increase of 2.9 percent over 2019. The dependable capacity was 4,710 MW, 3.1 percent more than in 2019,” the report showed.

Describing the situation as worrying, Mr Apeatu who was then the IGP registered the need for the trend to be reversed. Despite planned reforms and transformational agenda in the security services he emphasized, the then IGP said there are still identified challenges facing the police administration that needs the urgent attention of the government for effective policing. He cited instances where five policemen in certain areas all depend on one gun in combating crime describing the situation as worrying and want steps taken to immediately reverse this trend. At a National Police Command Conference held in Kumasi, the IGP observed the weakening firepower of the Service where five policemen use one gun in combating crime including financial constraints. “Irrespective of our challenges, let us note that our performances dove-tail into that of the judiciary and we will either succeed as a system, the criminal justice system or risk putting our democracy in jeopardy”
