Some of the conservation efforts were decades in the making. “It’s always a little bit anticlimactic in the end because a mark of success of any conservation project is the status quo. Nothing changes,” said Christa Collins, the Director of land protection at the SVT who said three conservation efforts coming together at the end of June was a coincidence. The SVT is also fundraising for conserving Stonefield Farm in Acton, which the Boston Area Gleaners plan to purchase. Although there’s always more work to do, Collins said she was often reminded how much work the SVT has already done while driving.

CANBERRA (Reuters) – Australia will deport controversial British commentator Katie Hopkins after she admitted breaching the country’s quarantine rules, Australia’s minister for home affairs said on Monday. All arrivals to Australia must complete two weeks in a hotel quarantine, where people must put on a mask before meals are delivered then wait 30 seconds to collect the food to avoid transmission. Hopkins’ video – which was later removed – prompted public anger as Australia has for months limited the number of citizens it allows into the country that means thousands of people remain unable to return. Foreign nationals are not permitted to enter Australia unless given special dispensation. Amid mounting criticism, Australia’s Minister for Home Affairs Karen Andrews ordered a review into the decision to award Hopkins a visa and on Monday said the government had decided to deport the commentator.

'”That same moxie drove the gay Jersey native — who had prior success with a reimagined revival of Hedwig & the Angry Inch — to develop Camp Morning Wood in the first place. And then I was like, ‘There hasn’t been a naked musical since Naked Boys Singing. A lot of white twinks auditioned for the show — you know, a lot. So far, we’ve been successful.”Camp Morning Wood runs through Sunday, August 29, at the Asylum Theatre, 307 W. 26th St., New York City.

AdvertisementNEW DELHI: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has suggested a proposal to construct a 5.6 km spur line from Puth Khurd to Holambi Kalan to better serve the Narela area being developed as a major housing hub by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). This spur line is in addition to the already proposed 22.9 km long Metrolite Corridor from Rithala to Narela under Phase-4 of Delhi Metro. The DMRC has suggested that one single alignment cannot serve the entire area with just one corridor. Therefore, in addition to the original corridor already proposed between Rithala and Narela (22.9 km), a spur of 5.6 km, from Puth Khurd to Holambi Kalan, may be planned. As a result, both DDA and DMRC are working together to better serve the Narela area which is one of the three sub-cities planned by DDA in a big way other than Dwarka and Rohini.
