Daily News StaffFRAMINGHAM — The Gondola Wheel and Super Slide are back in town this weekend, as the Rotary Club of Framingham's annual carnival returned after last year's event was canceled due to the coronavirus. The event, which opened Thursday and concludes with a 1-5 p.m. session today, takes place in the Rte. While there is no admission charge, carnival goers pay for food and rides. Founded in 1922, the Rotary Club of Framingham meets at 12:15 p.m. each Monday at Ken's Steak House, 95 Worcester Road (Rte. It offers scholarships for high school seniors, air conditioners for senior citizens in public housing, food for local food pantries, grants to other nonprofits and more.
