AdvertisementNEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): The Delhi Police has asked the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to keep extra vigil at seven metro stations and if needed, close these stations in view of the farmers’ protest against the three farm laws outside the Parliament from July 22. These seven stations are Janpath, Lok Kalyan Marg, Patel Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Mandi House and Udyog Bhawan. Delhi Police sent a letter regarding this to DMRC after having a meeting with a delegation of farmers, ahead of their planned protest starting from July 22. According to a senior police officer, it is just on a precautionary basis and if required, only then the metro stations will be closed.
