Yomi Ayeleso – Ado-EkitiThe Vice Chancellor of University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Professor Wahab Egbewole has lamented that many graduates from the nation’s universities have failed to meet up and compete favourably in the labour market. According to him, “The goal of education should be to generate compassionate and creative students who will contribute to the development and maintenance of a just society. “Some of our educational institutions have produced graduates who compare favourably with their peers in other parts of the world and are making waves, but it is also true that they have produced graduates who have not measured up to standard. “There are also cases of graduates who are so educationally vapid, to the extent that they are adjudged not to be trainable, and therefore, not employable.”Egbewole called for the reinvention of Nigeria’s school curriculum, as part of the solutions to rejuvenating standards in the nation’s education system. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says a cashless policy, when effectively operated in Nigeria, can help stem the surge of illicit election financing by making it possible to track funds. “So much money can be spent without it being tracked under the current election financing practices in the country.’’Osinbajo acknowledged the serious difficulty in controlling election financing because of cash transactions. “With cash transactions, it is still difficult to seriously control election financing.’’On electoral offences, the vice president said the Electoral Offences Commission Bill was at the National Assembly. He said he hoped that it would begin a new regime of dealing with electoral offences which would be helpful. Other members of the delegation include Ms Samuela Isopi, Ambassador, EU Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS and Mr Thomas Boserup, Deputy Chief Observer, EU Election Observation Mission.

A small group of environmentalists waving placards gathered at the harbour in Cape Town on Sunday chanting “No more fossil fuels, hands off Antarctica! South Africa has resisted taking sides over the war, which has triggered sweeping Western sanctions against Moscow and attempts to isolate it diplomatically. This is the second Russian ship to moor in South Africa in as many months. In December, South Africa was criticised for allowing a sanctioned Russian cargo ship to dock and unload its cargo at a Cape Town naval base. The Akademik Aleksandr Karpinskiy will join the vessel Akademik Fedorov, which left Russia in November 2022.

As they say in legal parlance, the most recent outburst of Tinubu in Abeokuta, Ogun State, last Wednesday has provoked issues for determination. To be sure, the allegation of a conspiracy theory was already in the public domain, long before Tinubu made that allegation. They are hoarding naira notes, they are hoarding fuel, we will vote and we will win,” he told a jubilant but rowdy crowd of supporters. Forget the very jejune and I dare say, lacking-creative-acumen press release issued by the Directorate of Media & Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. You will recall that, in June, 2022, hours before the APC congress, Tinubu had made similar spark where he literally called Buhari out.

An armed group in Mali that signed a major peace deal in 2015 said this week it was pulling out of efforts to draft a new constitution. The new constitution is a key part of a peace and reconciliation process designed to return the country from military to civilian rule by March 2024. The decision to go further and boycott the work of rewriting the constitution came just hours after Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop accused the armed groups of “hampering” efforts to put the peace process in place. The CMA repeated its request for a meeting with international mediators to discuss the viability of the peace deal, which it had said in December was close to breaking down. Under international pressure, the current military government has agreed to allow a return to civilian rule in March 2024.

Two Indian Air Force fighter jets crashed on Saturday, killing one pilot, in an apparent mid-air collision while on exercises south of the capital New Delhi. The crash involved a Russian-made Sukhoi Su-30, carrying two pilots, and a French-built Mirage 2000, operated by a third. Five army soldiers were killed last October when their helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh state, near the country’s militarised and disputed border with China. It was the second military chopper crash in the state that month, coming weeks after a Cheetah helicopter came down near the town of Tawang, killing its pilot. India’s defence chief, General Bipin Rawat, was among 13 people killed when his Russian-made Mi-17 helicopter crashed while transporting him to an air force base in December 2021.

1/28/2023 4:07:23 PMIn this Elden Ring Build Guide, we'll show you the Golem's Halberd build. This is an NG+ build that takes place after level 150. If you've been looking for a Colossal Weapon build that deals tremendous damage, then you might want to check this build-out. How To Make This Guardian Golem Build WorkSo the weapon we're using for this build is the Golem's Halberd, this is the namesake of the build the guardian Golems wield this weapon, and the earliest one we think you can find besides the one that's like at half health or a couple that are half health line throughout limb grave are the ones in Stormville Castle, so if you need to farm for it then that's where you would do that, the Golem sovereignty is one of the absolute favorite weapons in this game, it has incredible attack rating, it has very good reach, it has a fantastic move set, it looks awesome, it is just an all-around phenomenal weapon, at any strength two-handed unbuffed without anything increasing our attack power, we're sitting at 878 damage which is absolutely insane, if you buffed with something like exalted flesh or flame Grammy strength and then added something like golden vow to this, this would probably be somewhere around 13 or 1400 attack rating which would be incredible, we don't have these in this build obviously you can use exalted flesh if you want, but that is a lot of attack power for unban, so the way we're set up here is we like to use the heavy infusion as you may have noticed, and I like to use Royal Knight's Resolve for this and that's going to boost the damage you deal by 80 so that insane attack power is going to translate into a lot of damage, and one of the downsides of this build is that you can't buff with like grease or anything like that because when you use Royal Knights resolve, it's going to override it, but if you're using a different Ash of War, we would definitely recommend using those to increase your damage even more, but what we really like about Royal Knight's resolve is if you walk up to a boss or a tough to kill enemy and you do a Charged R2 attack, you hit for like 3 000 maybe 4 000 damage a lot of time, that is a lot of damage, and because charged r2s deal so much stagger damage at the same time if you can get a another R2 or another couple quick attacks, you usually stagger just about anything even bosses and that allows you to go in for a critical attack or to charge or buff with real nice resolve again and get off another charge card too for devastating damage, another thing we really like about Royal Knight's Resolve as well is that it's not super expensive, you don't need it all the time with this build, but more importantly, it's not boosted by Shard of Alexandra Warrior jar shards, so you can free up that slot for something else, most of the time if you're playing a build, you'll use one of those slots unless you're playing like a mage, you're going to use one of those slots for shard of Alexander, Warrior Jar Shard, you don't need it in this build that frees up another slot for something else. I used the nickname for a while but after ‘Don’ stopped being in vogue, I changed it Samspedy. It often takes me all day to shoot content with just one character. Have you ever thought of creating new characters, other than Mama Ojo, Papa Ojo and Ojo? The kind of content I do makes people respect me because I don’t make skits that glorify sex and other vices. I shoot content that relates to African mums.

In Africa, eco-friendly and green energy sources of energy are neither accessible nor affordable, hence why global organizations have lent their voices to champion the need for countries to adopt sustainable sources of energy. Green Force is one of the fastest growing renewable energy service providers in Nigeria, and is an eco-friendly energy company, with a mission to provide green energy solutions across Africa. If all of this can be averted with the adoption of green energy sources, why do we hesitate? Some industry critics have debated about the impact of renewable energy on e-waste and recycling as these processes also impact the environment. Let us promote green renewable energy for a greener earth and keep the world safe, rather than sorry!
