Delhi L-G writes to CM on alleged GST, advises detailed probe
Lieutenant-Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Monday “advised” Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to ask Delhi Finance Minister Atishi to initiate a detailed enquiry into alleged goods and services tax (GST) evasion in the city and tighten the tax administration. Issuing a statement in response, the Delhi government said it vehemently condemns any instance of evasion and is committed to enforcing strict compliance with tax laws. “It is indeed dubious that the Capital tops the list of tax evasion amongst all States and Union Territories, with the one on the second place behind Delhi by as much as ₹827 crore. The report for the third quarter brings out “shocking” facts about the extent of tax evasion prevailing in Delhi, Mr. Saxena said, referring to the alleged GST evasions. The Delhi government, in its statement, said strictest possible action will be initiated against the violators at once.

India cuts duty rates on US products to resolve outstanding World Trade Organisation issues
India has cut duties on frozen turkey, frozen duck, fresh blueberries and cranberries, frozen blueberries and cranberries to about 5 to 10 per cent from the existing 30 to 45 per cent, as agreed with the US to resolve outstanding World Trade Organisation (WTO) issues. The new duty rates, effective from Tuesday, have been notified by the finance ministry. India is not a major producer of blueberries and depends on the import of the fruit to meet its local needs. The US is the largest producer of blueberries in the world and has been trying to tap the Indian market. The official said there is a work programme on e-commerce trade and the members of the WTO should continue to discuss the issue under that.

Revitalizing mango orchards in Tamil Nadu with government subsidies

Indore News: किसानों ने किया हंगामा, कलेक्टोरेट जाने से रोका, चपरासी को ज्ञापन देने पर अड़े नाराज किसान
इंदौर, (नईदुनिया प्रतिनिधि)। पश्चिम रिंग रोड के निर्माण के लिए किसानों की उपजाऊ जमीन को अधिग्रहित किए जाने के खिलाफ बुधवार को भारतीय किसान संघ ने भी र मोर्चा खोल दिया। संघ के नेतृत्व में किसानों ने 500 ट्रैक्टरों के साथ लक्ष्मीबाई अनाज मंडी से कलेक्ट्रेट तक मार्च निकालने का ऐलान किया। किसान मंडी में जुट गए लेकिन प्रशासन ने भारी पुलिस बल लगाकर मंडी को ही जेल बना दिया।ट्रैक्टरों को बाहर नहीं निकलने दिया गया। लगभग चार घंटे भारतीय किसान संघ के पदाधिकारी सड़क पर बैठकर नारेबाजी करते रहे। कलेक्टर ज्ञापन लेने नहीं आए तो किसानों ने भी नीचे के अधिकारियों को ज्ञापन देने से इनकार कर दिया। एक मार्च से किसानों आंदोलन के दूसरे चरण की घोषणा कर दी है। शासन ने 140 किमी लंबी रिंग रोड के निर्माण के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी है। पहले चरण में 64 किमी लंबी पश्चिमी रिंग रोड बनाई जाना है।इसमें कुल 39 गांवों की 650 हेक्टेयर जमीन जो किसानों की है अधिग्रहित की जाना है। बीते कई महीनों से किसान अपनी उपजाऊ जमीन अधिग्रहित करने के खिलाफ अलग-अलग समूहों में आंदोलन कर रहे हैं। इस बीच भारतीय किसान संघ ने भी भूमि अधिग्रहण का विरोध किया है।किसान कह रहे हैं कि सरकार उपजाऊ जमीन अधिग्रहित कर आने वाले दौर में अन्न संकट की भूमिका बना रही है।उपजाऊ जमीन के बदले गाइडलाइन दर से मुआवजा दिया जा रहा है। किसानों को बाजार भाव से चार गुना मुआवजा दिया जाना चाहिए। बुधवार सुबह 11 बजते-बजते सैकड़ों किसान मंडी में जमा हो गए। इसी बीच प्रशासन ने मंडी के गेट के बाहर भारी पुलिस बल तैनात कर बैरिकेडिंग कर दी और गेट बंद कर दिए। किसान संघ के नेता गेट के बाहर सड़क पर धरना देने बैठ गए।नहीं पहुंचे कलेक्टर तो चपरासी को बुलाया करीब साढ़े तीन घंटे तक किसान नेता मंडी के बाहर सड़क पर धरना देते रहे। इस दौरान प्रशासन और सरकार के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी हुई। किसान संघ के नेताओं ने मांग की कि उन्हें कलेक्ट्रेट तक जाने दिया जाए। संघ के प्रांतीय नेता भी धरने में मौजूद थे। किसानों ने आरोप लगाया कि विकास के नाम पर भूमाफियाओं-कालोनाइजरों को लाभ देने की योजना बना रही है।विकास सड़क बनाने से ही नहीं होता खेती-किसानी रोजगार का जरिया है। किसानों को उजाड़कर माफियाओं को बसाने की तैयारी हो रही है। इस बीच अपर कलेक्टर व एसडीएम मौके पर आए। किसानों से ज्ञापन लेने की बात कही। किसानों ने साफ कह दिया कि कलेक्टर आए तो उन्होंने ही ज्ञापन दिया जाएगा।अधिकारियों ने इनकार कर दिया कि कलेक्टर नहीं आएंगे।इस पर किसान संघ के नेताओं ने कहा कि फिर बेहतर है कि हम मंडी के चपरासी को ही ज्ञापन सौंप दे। उन्होंने मंडी के चपरासी को बाहर भेजने की मांग की। इस बीच कुछ लोग चपरासी को लेने पहुंचे। पुलिस व अधिकारियों ने धमकाते हुए चपरासी को बाहर जाने से रोक दिया। करीब 4 बजे किसान संघ ने धरना खत्म करते हुए ऐलान कर दिया कि एक मार्च से बड़ा आंदोलन शुरू होगा।

जिला अधिवक्ता संघ नामांकन दाखिल करने अंतिम दिन आज
रीवा। जिला अधिवक्ता संघ चुनाव को लेकर अभ्यर्थियों के नामांकन दाखिल करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है। बुधवार को शाम 5 बजे तक अधिवक्ता अपना नामांकन दाखिल कर सकेंगे। इसके बाद 22 फरवरी को नामांकन पत्रों की जांच की जाएगी।बता दें जिला अधिवक्ता संघ का चुनाव को लेकर प्रक्रिया प्रांरभ होगी। इसमें अध्यक्ष , उपाध्यक्ष, सचिव, ग्रंथपाल, कोषाध्यक्ष सहित कार्यकारिणी के सदस्यों को चुनाव किया जाना है। इसके लिए प्रक्रिया प्रांरभ होने के बाद दोपहर से जिला न्यायालय परिसर में अधिवक्ता संघ कार्यालय में नामांकन दाखिल करने अधिवक्ताओं की भीड़ रही।वहीं कई अधिवक्ताओं ने मंगलवार नामांकन ले लिया है लेकिन अभी जमा नहीं है। माना जा रहा है बुधवार को सभी नामांकन दाखिल कर देगें। इसके पहले 19 फरवरी को अंतिम मतदाता सूची का प्रकाशन किया गया।पहले दिन चार ने दाखिल किया नामांकनजिला अधिवक्ता संघ अध्यक्ष के लिए चार लोगों ने नामांकन दाखिल किया। इनमें पूर्व अध्यक्ष राजेन्द्र पांडेय, अशोक शुक्ला, गिरीश कुमार द्विवेदी,ऋतुराज सिंह शामिल है।वहीं उपाध्यक्ष के लिए 5, सचिव पद सुलभ पांडेय, रवीन्द्र सोहगौरा, दीपेश सिंह, रघुवंश प्रताप सिंह, अवनीश सिंह नामांकन दाखिल किया। इसके अतिरिक्त सह सचिव के 8, कोषाध्यक्ष के तीन, ग्रंथपाल सरोज कुशवाहा,राममणि मिश्रा सहित 13 सदस्य ने नामांकन दाखिल किया है।
