"The performance of the banking sector remained strong at the end of 2020, with robust growth in total assets, deposits and investment,” he said. However, he noted that the increase in total assets resulted in strong growth in investments in government securities. Dr Aubynn said despite these challenges, the banking sector reform by the government, including the recapitalization of banks, has enhanced the overall resilience of the sector. "Overall, the impact of the pandemic on the industry's performance seems moderate, as banks remained liquid, profitable and well-capitalized", Dr Aubynn stated. Meanwhile, total deposits recorded significant year-on-year growth, reflecting strong liquidity flows emanating from the COVID-19 fiscal stimulus package and payments to contractors by the government.

The Manchester City goalie Ederson is another personality who has demonstrated time and time again that they are real team players when it comes to functional goalkeeping. We have many goalkeepers who do well but I think when it comes to functional goalkeepers these three readily come to mind,” he said. During the official launch of the project on Friday, June 11, the minister said the campaigners should do away with social media and be part of the Green Ghana project, a way to fix the deteriorating environment. Environmental degradation remains one of the major issues in Ghana, hence, the need for all, including the FixTheCountry protesters in the region to plant trees to save lives, he stated. He asserted that “a way we can all contribute in our little way to fix the problem of environmental degradation.
