Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has once again called for an end to the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine wars. While in Munich, Hasina spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the conference about the ongoing war in his country. “I directly asked the president of Ukraine to tell me how to stop the war. So, my question was simple.”The prime minister also added that she would ask the same thing of Russian President Vladimir Putin if she meets him. “I will always speak my mind and ask them to put an end to the war.

bdnews24.com: recently, a mobile operator sought an allocation of 850 Mhz spectrum which stirred a controversy in the telecom sector. I think that's the biggest challenge with the current 850. We are moved away and our current spectrum is given to whoever is interested in that 850 band here. And somebody who is wanting 850, despite the challenges of that, takes it because that's their call, I cannot comment on that. Rajeev Sethi: So first of all, I think what we need to understand is, we use radio signals.

The wait was nearly unbearable for Nebraska softball’s Kaylin Kinney. When a hand injury early in the 2023 season caused her to miss the rest of the season, Kinney tried to remain positive. But Kinney can’t do it alone, and because of Bahl’s injury, the strategy of Nebraska’s pitching rotation has changed. With Nebraska sure to face high-level pitching in all of its contests, a big weekend is on the way for Kinney and her pitching counterparts. Just like her overall approach, Kinney isn’t changing as she settles into the lead role in Nebraska's pitching rotation.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina revealed that she has been wearing Tangail sarees recently to affirm its Bangladeshi origin amid an ongoing tug of war over the product's Geographical Indication (GI) status between Bangladesh and India. Describing it as a 'strategic move', she said, “For the past few days, I have chosen to wear the Tangail saree to demonstrate that it is ours, and it cannot be claimed by others.”The prime minister was speaking at a media briefing on Friday following her recent visit to Germany for the Munich Security Conference. The origin of the Tangail saree became the subject of heated debate after India's Ministry of Industries received GI recognition for the product, which it called the 'Tangail Saree of Bengal'.

Although the distinction is arbitrary, I’ve split them into two articles, one covering the ones I liked (or reservedly recommend) and another the ones I liked less (or think might merit a skip). Even if a lot of the satire ends up amounting to gentle ribbings and broad characterizations of rich liberal white people, it still ends up being pretty funny throughout. Still, Anatomy of a Fall remains a difficult, compelling and sometimes hilarious film about relationships, patriarchy and presumably a bunch else. Past LivesLeaderboard 2Film Twitter’s latest cause célèbre, dividing the app’s two brands of pretentious cinephile, has been the continuing critical acclaim and awards buzz for Past Lives. For all of the film’s saccharine, corny speeches that read like discarded dispatches from a lonely Notes app, the most powerful moment in Past Lives is its silent and deeply felt ending.

I’m incredibly sympathetic to its warm nostalgia for ’70s aesthetics, even if the specific genre its cribbing from has never particularly appealed to me. Ultimately, though, the failure of Poor Things boils down not to ideology (or lack thereof), but to a thinly stretched narrative that trudges on far longer than a viewer’s attention span. The greatest sin of Poor Things is that it’s extremely boring: No transformative performance or exciting color palette can fix that. It isn’t devoid of fun — I quite enjoyed an unbroken scene depicting Bernstein’s flirtation — and the third act’s emotional beats occasionally succeed, but Maestro is a collection of exciting moments in search of an exciting film. By the end, the great scenes and the bad ones end up lying forgotten alongside Cooper’s dashed Oscar dreams and absurd campaign trail anecdotes.
