Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday announced that his party would hold a long march on Islamabad in the last week of May. "I am giving this call not just to PTI workers but to the entire country," Imran said in a video message. "The one who has become the prime minister, he is being called a crime minister. Imran Khan urged every Pakistani to prepare for bringing ‘real freedom’, adding that the process of preparation would begin on Chand Raat — on eve of Eidul Fitr. The former prime minister claimed that his long march would be the “largest gathering in the history of Pakistan”.

With the 118th pick in the NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings have selected Akayleb Evans in the 4th Round. Evans becomes the first Missouri Tiger to be selected in this year’s draft. In his lone season as a grad transfer at Mizzou, Evans produced a successful campaign with a career high 25 solo tackles and two forced fumbles, along with six pass deflections. Mizzou had gone three rounds without a player selected, and that doesn’t usually happen for this program. This is just the third time Missouri hasn't had a player taken in the first three rounds since 2008.

Indian 90s pop sensation Tarsame Singh Saini, popularly known as Taz from Stereo Nation has passed away, his family said in a statement on Friday. According to reports, the singer suffered a liver failure following which, he slipped into a coma. Taz rose to fame with his album album ‘Hit The Deck’ in 1989. He was the lead singer of the pop band Stereo Nation which was formed in 1996 and was called the pioneer of cross-cultural Asian fusion music. He also contributed to the music of Bollywood films with popular songs like “Daroo Vich Pyar” (Tum Bin) and “It’s magic” (Koi Mill Gaya).

One man who was inside the mosque at the time told Reuters the huge blast tore through the building during prayers, the explosion burning his feet and hands. Last Friday, a blast tore through a Sunni mosque during Friday prayers in the city of Kunduz, killing 33 people.

Pop singer Taz from Stereo Nation passed away at the age of 54 on April 29, 2022. The Hit The Deck crooner was reportedly suffering from Hernia and was due to have surgery two years ago for the same but it was postponed amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As his health deteriorated, Taz was reportedly in a coma. He shot to fame in 1989 with his album Hit The Deck. He was the lead singer of the band Stereo Nation that was formed in the 90s.

A 90s pop sensation, singer Tarsame Singh Saini, popularly known as Taz from Stereo Nation breathed his last in a hospital on Friday, April 29, his family confirmed in a statement. On March 23 last month, the official page of Taz's band Stereo Nation shared an update about improvement in his health. A note shared by the account read, “Dear All, Taz Sir is no longer in a coma, He’s showing improvements every day. Indian singer Bally Sagoo shared a picture with the late singer on Twitter and wrote, "RIP brother. The pop singer rose to fame in 1989 with his album Hit The Deck.

Tarsame Singh Saini, who is also poularly known as Taz Stereo Nation has passed away today. He was a popular Punjabi British singer, composer and actor , TAZ hailed from India. He was equally popular in Pakistan. TAZ was vocalist of the very popular band Stereo Nation which was formed in 1996. His song Piyar Ho Gaya, Haye Haye Jawani and Nachan gay Sari Raat were popular in Pakistan as well.

LAHORE- Uzbekistan defeated Pakistan 2-1 in the World Junior Tennis (WJT) Competition Boys 14&Under Asia/Oceania Final Qualifying Event 2022, continued at the RK Khanna Tennis Stadium, New Delhi, India. On the fifth day of the competition, Pakistan’s Hamza Roman won the first singles match by beating Saidov Sukhrob 5-2 (retired) but their seeded player Hussnain Ali Rizwan couldn’t deliver against Uzbekistan’s Khojiboev Abdurakhmon, who routed the Pakistani player 6-3, 6-2. In the decisive doubles match, Uzbekistan’s Khojiboev Abdurakhmon and Toshmukhamedov Akhmadjon had to struggle hard to beat Pakistani pair of Ahtesham Humayun and Hamza Roman by 7-6, 3-6, 11-9. Ahtesham Humayun and Hussnain Ali Rizwan won their singles with Ahtesham Humayun and Hamza Roman making it 3-0 for Pakistan after winning the doubles. In the tough singles match, Pakistan ATF 2nd ranked player Hussnain Ali Rizwan (LGS Paragon) outpaced Malaysia’s No 1 player Muhammad Adeeb 6-3, 6-1.

ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Industries and Production Makhdoom Syed Murtaza Mahmud on Friday said that the government would facilitate the mobile phone sector to commence mother board (PCB) assembly in Pakistan by 2023. He chaired a briefing session on Mobile Device Manufacturing Policy 202O. He said that in light of the policy Mobile Device Manufacturing (MDM) regulations more 30 companies have been issued MDM authorization enabling them to manufacture mobile devices in Pakistan. He remarked that there is need to establish R&D center for transfer of technology and skill development pertaining to mobile manufacturing sector. He added that this would enhance footprint of mobile manufacturing industry in competitive export market.
