The administration again asked people to evacuate the city, and the people once again opted to stay back and save the city. Also, this time the local administration supported the people and provided heavy machinery in the crucial phase.

Imran breaks silence of botched assassination attempt
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan asked his supporters on Friday to continue protesting against the assassination attempt on him until those who plotted the attack resigned from their positions. Dr Faisal Sultan, the chief executive officer of the hospital, said that the PTI chief was hit by four bullets to his leg. He asked his party workers and supporters to continue protesting against the assassination attempt until three “accused” resigned. Giving the reasons behind the assassination attempt, Imran said that the “conspirators” decided to kill him because of the massive participation of the people in the long march. There is no justice here,” he said, adding investigation into his assassination attempt was not possible until the three accused resigned.

PM demands 'full court commission' to probe Imran’s allegations

I don’t know anything about anything, I’m just guessing that this is the case. The Rocket Richard is one of the individual awards that Connor has yet to win, and I believe he wants it whether he says it or not. I’m thinking Grudge Connor has landed and I cannot wait to see what he does next. Just because you may not like the way he’s winning games, doesn’t mean that he’s not still winning them. We need both guys, and I don’t care who is starting in net or what their stats look like so long as they win.

ISPR rejects Imran statement as "unacceptable, uncalled for"

Dr Faisal Sultan disclosed the X-rays of Imran Khan and said that the bullets also fractured a bone in Khan’s right leg. PTI chief Imran Khan lashed out at the PML-N and the PPP during his address. “The cipher came; Donald Lu threatened the ambassador that if Imran Khan is not removed the country will face difficulties. So first it was projected that I disrespected religion and then their plan was what they did in Wazirabad […] that a religious extremist killed Imran Khan,” Khan claimed.

Football Australia was unable to provide immediate comment to Reuters on the FIFA letter on Friday. Weapons are tricky. Some people use them with caution, while others use them casually and unnecessarily. For many people, using weapons is a part of their culture, but for others it is frightening and worrisome. In the wake of recent floods, a lot of internally displaced people can be seen in urban areas who move around with weapons. With the recent spike in street crimes, carrying weapons in public only adds to the trouble of the locals.

Imran Khan speaks to the nation after surviving assasination attempt
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that four persons decided to get him killed behind closed doors and he has named them in a video that he already recorded. Addressing a live press conference from Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore Imran said that the anti-Islam narrative was progressed against him as a result of which his assassination attempt was designed. He said that he had told about his assassination attempt on Sep 24 to rally about the plot. Imran said that a handler [Major General Faisal] was posted in Islamabad who went hard on every journalist speaking in favour of PTI. He further added that Major General Faisal has done everything to manipulate things against PTI; journalists have been under great pressure since his appointment.

Countrywide protests begin after Imran's assassination bid

Meanwhile, the GT Road from Chakbeli Mor in Rawalpindi was blocked as violent protests erupted against the assassination attempt on the PTI chief. Earlier, PTI General Secretary Asad Umar announced nationwide protests will be held after Friday prayers and that demonstrations will continue until the demand of PTI Chairman Imran Khan is met. The PTI senior leader took to his Twitter handle to make the announcement just a day after the party chief escaped an assassination attempt. Protest is also underway in Sindh's Umarkot against the assassination attempt on the PTI chief.

Pakistan reports 40 coronavirus cases, no death in 24 hours
Share:Pakistan has reported no death in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,574,275. The nationwide tally of fatalities stands at 30,627 on Friday. According to the latest figures by the National Institute of Health (NIH), at least 40 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 across the country in the past 24 hours. Pakistan has conducted 11,693 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 40 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 0.34 percent.
