Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan asked his supporters on Friday to continue protesting against the assassination attempt on him until those who plotted the attack resigned from their positions. Dr Faisal Sultan, the chief executive officer of the hospital, said that the PTI chief was hit by four bullets to his leg. He asked his party workers and supporters to continue protesting against the assassination attempt until three “accused” resigned. The nationwide tally of fatalities stands at 30,627 on Friday. According to the latest figures by the National Institute of Health (NIH), at least 40 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 across the country in the past 24 hours. Pakistan has conducted 11,693 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 40 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 0.34 percent.
