Sanaullah said that Imran hurriedly expelled PTI leader Faisal Vawda just because he predicted bloodshed and coffins in PTI’s long march and alarmed people about the possible danger through a press conference a few days ago. The interior minister while commenting on Gandapur’s audio leak allegedly planning about bringing “weapons and men” near Islamabad with the unidentified man questioned how could PTI now claim that its long march was peaceful. “How many guns are there,” the PTI leader allegedly asked the man in the alleged audio, who responded, “there are many”. The unidentified man allegedly told Gandapur in the audio that there will be as many men as needed. Referring to the alleged conversation of the PTI leader, Sanaullah said he has asked the police chief to arrest Gandapur, who is in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to avert bloodshed.

The governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) downplayed the growing global concern that there was an elevated risk of the country defaulting on its international debt obligations, saying it would pay the maturing debt on time. “Pakistan received a $1.5 billion loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) recently. Additional inflows from some other multilateral and bilateral institutions including the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) are also expected soon,” explained Ahmed. The historical surge in the risk of default reflected the growing concerns of global investors on the timely re- payment of maturing debt. Perhaps, the time had come to take the people into confidence as the ‘red line’ was crossed too many times. Otherwise, why would a secluded soldier come out in the open and in such a bold manner? If things have to be in the open, then let it be. Hence, the presence of DG (I) and DG (ISPR) sitting side-by-side as a team. The nation will break the shackles of ‘slavery’ and Pakistan will become a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
