Unikon.ai raises a seed investment of $2 million
Unikon.ai, a platform that allows users to monetise their time and expertise through networking, has raised $2 million from investors including Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath, Lenskart’s Peyush Bansal, Shiprocket’s Vishesh Khurana, and Gaurav Khatri of Noise. Unikon.ai is a platform designed to “democratise” access, and foster connections for its users by monetising their time and knowledge. The platform aims in reducing the time in networking and provide a seamless transparent platform in forming valuable connections. “From my journey, I realised the immense value of meaningful connections and how they add value to an individual’s growth journey. The platform gives its users control over pricing and scheduling for one-on-one sessions via chat, audio, or video calls.

YouTube is also sending emails, according to reports, to users about the cancellation of YouTube Premium at dates specified by the company. When the user restarts the membership, YouTube asks for a card with the address of the current residence of the user. When the affected users raised their concern regarding the cancellation of subscriptions, the company said it was due to discrepancy between the sign up and current locations. The purchasing power of this platform is declined on the basis of consumer expectations, which ultimately leads to varying prices across the world.

NBFC lobby group demands dedicated refinance bank, more level playing field with banks
"Over the years, liquidity has been a recurring challenge for NBFCs, especially for a large number of small and medium-sized NBFCs. Sources of funding like public deposits and external commercial borrowings have been restricted. The recent concerns on the over dependence on banks for funding have further added to the liquidity concerns," FIDC director Raman Aggarwal said in the memorandum to the finance minister. "During our interaction, the management at Sidbi has conveyed their willingness to take up this role," Aggarwal said.The Reserve Bank of India has several times in the recent past voiced concerns over NBFCs' "over-dependence" on banks for funding.
