JLR volumes are expected to see a 3 per cent year-on-year growth,” said Motilal Oswal.

Adidas’s second-largest market after Europe, North America, saw an 8 per cent decline in currency-neutral sales from April to June, amounting to € 1.3 billion (US $ 1.51 billion). In a media call, the business stated that underlying sales, excluding Yeezy, increased by 2 per cent from the same period the previous year. Adidas reported that, as of 30th June, its total inventory had decreased by 18 per cent to 4.5 billion euros from the same time last year. Adidas’ currency-neutral sales in Europe reached € 1.9 billion in the second quarter, up 19 per cent from the same period last year. Adidas stated that it was still targeting an operating profit margin of 10 per cent by 2026.

It's not clear how many jets were provided in the first tranche or which nations provided them. The Ukrainian government has not confirmed receipt of the jets.

BHUBANESWAR: Mayor Sulochana Das on Wednesday said the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has no problem in razing illegally-constructed apartments in its jurisdiction if the state government is willing to pay compensation for it. Taking stock of the road condition in a few localities here, Das said the BMC doesn’t have adequate funds for compensation which will be required to demolish the illegal apartments. “However, if the government takes a decision in this regard and allocates funds for compensation, we can execute it. The mayor further said no one should construct houses illegally by encroaching drains and government land or violating any regulation. At least 689 cases were registered in BMC and BDA jurisdiction.

BHUBANESWAR: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has launched a survey of real estate projects and commercial establishments in its jurisdiction to fill the infrastructure gap and make the city more livable and sustainable in the years to come. According to BDA, the survey focuses on assessing availability of sewerage system, drainage, solid waste management, security provisions and parking facility among others. An officer in BDA’s planning wing said the development authority has urged citizens, especially owners of plots, apartments, residential property and commercial establishments to extend their support for the survey. He said once the survey is complete, the BDA will be able to identify infrastructure deficiencies of a property. Urban planning experts said the survey should also cover real estate projects in BDA area lacking RERA registration, plan approval and occupancy certificate.
