During his time in office, Biden approved more than $4 trillion of new 10-year borrowing, debt-financing everything from COVID relief to infrastructure spending to student debt cancellation. It also added to an already high and rising national debt. So too will the cost of interest paid by taxpayers on the national debt, which already exceeds spending on Medicare or national defense. Most important, Biden should use the presidential bully pulpit to make the case for paying for new priorities, reducing our debt and securing federal trust funds. We need leaders to level with the American people about the challenges ahead — challenges Biden understands well.

The New York Times has introduced the next title coming to its Games catalog following Wordle's continued success -- and it's all about math. In Digits, players are presented with a target number that they need to match. Players will get a five-star rating if they match the target number exactly, a three-star rating if they get within 10 of the target, and a one-star rating if they can get within 25 of the target number. So play Digits while you can, as The New York Times may move on from the project if it doesn't get the response it is hoping for. Digits' beta is available to play for free now on The New York Times Games' website

Something has to be done to resolve the border crisis. It might be advisable to deport criminals who are here illegally, but not all immigrants. “It’s kind of annoying having to deal with the same things over and over and over,” Embiid said Wednesday. All I try to do is focus on basketball, and trying to make the best living for my family, on and off the court. “But it’s unbelievable. It just feels like negativity keeps following us, which I don’t understand why. But it is a shame, but it doesn’t change the fact that we’ve still all got to be better.” -via The Philadelphia Inquirer / November 21, 2024

Russell Wilson was aiming for the end zone on the final play of the game, and his pass fell incomplete to give the Browns a 24-19 victory. The camera then showed Pickens being held back by two members of stadium security near the seats. One fan was even holding Pickens' arm, leading to initial speculation that Pickens was getting into it with fans. The Browns initially blew a 10-point lead, but Jameis Winston led a game-winning drive in the game's final minutes. Nick Chubb scored twice, including the game-winning touchdown, as the Browns got their third win of the season.

Bondi frequently appears on Fox News, including as a guest host for “The Five.”Trump told Bondi she was his choice for attorney general on Thursday evening at his Mar-a-Lago home. In contrast with Gaetz, Bondi immediately drew praise from Senate Republicans after being named as Trump’s attorney general pick. With the selection of Bondi, Trump puts a less divisive loyalist in position to lead the agency. As Florida’s attorney general, Bondi endorsed Trump a day before the state’s presidential primary in 2016, favoring him over Sen. Marco Rubio, a fellow Floridian whom Trump has now chosen to be secretary of state. Corrections & Amplifications undefined If confirmed as attorney general, Pam Bondi would become the third woman in the role.
