Global Fintech Giant Finastra Investigating Data Breach
Finastra, a global financial technology giant, has suffered from a major data breach which is impacting its internal file transfer system. The company is based out of London and handles banking and wire transfers for over 8,100 financial institutions. Hackers were able to access Finastra’s Secure File Transfer Platform (SFTP) with stolen credentials. However, the hacker wiped its presence from the internet after halving the ransom price. The incident is still under investigation, but it is believed that confidential internal documents and sensitive client data were accessed.

That was up from about 12 million users just one month ago. Bluesky is seen as a major competitor to social networking service X, formerly Twitter. These adjustments can significantly impact the monthly premiums for Medicare Part B (medical insurance) and Part D (prescription drug coverage). The Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) is an additional fee added to your standard Medicare Part B and Part D premiums. So, for example, the 2025 IRMAA brackets will be based on your income in 2023.
