Ashleigh Brown, one of three defendants in a federal doxxing case, is photographed at the U.S. The masked protesters screaming at a federal agent outside his home was the type of scene Trump administration officials had long feared. His wife told jurors she was convinced protesters would return because of the “climate” of anger toward immigration agents. AdvertisementNicolaysen said the federal stalking statute is “vague” and much easier to prove than the “doxxing” charge that initially was brought in the Baldwin Park case. Bernstein said he fears prosecutors will become more aggressive in pursuing doxxing and stalking charges to justify the administration’s claims that federal agents are in constant danger.

“Nashville Noticias staffer Estefany Rodríguez was detained by ICE in South Nashville on Wednesday morning. In her job, Rodríguez has reported several stories that hold ICE accountable, and it’s unclear whether her detention was retaliation. “Nashville News contacted ICE for comment on this case, but so far, we have not received a response. “The timing of the launch ultimately became more urgent than originally planned,” Larry Witherspoon (pictured, below), founder of Civil Rights TV, messaged Journal-isms. - Al Drago/Getty ImagesA system to process at least $166 billion in tariff refunds could be up and running in 45 days. Nintendo, Costco, Fedex and thousands of other businesses sued the government in an effort to get tariff refunds, but that may not now be necessary. Instead, under the new system, importers would file declarations listing all the instances they paid the now-invalidated duties, Lord said. “CBP will provide guidance on how to file to refund declarations in the new system,” Lord said. Prior to Friday’s filing, the Trump administration had not detailed how it would process these refunds.

NORFOLK, Va. — A new U.S. jobs report was out Friday and it wasn't great. While working families fight to stay afloat, the Trump Administration’s economic policies are funneling money into the pockets of the wealthy. This is not the kind of economic performance working families were promised. The truth is, this is the fifth month of job loss since President Trump returned to office. I’m proud of the work my colleagues and I did to pass the Working Families Tax Cut, which was signed into law just eight months ago.

Iran Conflict Market Impact Deepens as Equities Chop and Gold SurgesShare via Close extra sharing options Email Facebook X LinkedIn Threads Reddit WhatsApp Copy Link URL Copied! PrintEquities are trading choppy as investors monitor headlines about the ongoing conflict in Iran and potential energy supply disruptions. Oil hit 52-week highs earlier this week, with ICE Brent crude trading above $92 per barrel, as U.S. officials signaled the conflict could continue and President Trump reiterated that any deal would require Iran’s “unconditional surrender.” Safe-haven demand has lifted gold more than 1%, while global markets have also weakened, with the Dubai Financial Market down over 3% and the pan-European STOXX 600 finishing more than 1% lower. Economic data added to uncertainty, showing the U.S. economy lost 92,000 jobs in February and retail sales slipped 0.2% in January, though some sectors still posted gains. Meanwhile, individual stocks saw movement, with Samsara surging more than 15% after strong earnings and Planet Labs rising over 6% following positive investor attention.

LOADING ERROR LOADINGWASHINGTON (AP) — A Florida handyman who was sentenced on Thursday to life in prison for molesting two children had been convicted of storming the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, but was pardoned by President Donald Trump. County Circuit Judge Judge Stephen Toner handed down Johnson’s life sentence. One of his victims told investigators that the abuse started around April 2024, several months before Johnson was sentenced for his Capitol riot conviction. AdvertisementChief U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg in Washington sentenced Johnson in August 2024 to one year behind bars after he pleaded guilty to four misdemeanor charges stemming from the riot. Johnson cursed and yelled at police officers after they used tear gas to disperse the mob of Trump supporters, prosecutors said.

But the good news is that the U.S. doesn’t need to worry about retaliation from Iran — probably, Trump guesses. Rated the war with Iran a “12 or 15 out of 10.”“How do you like the performance? “I don’t want to see it go on too long.”― Trump, sharing his war timeline with CNN. “It won’t be difficult.”― Trump, reflecting on regime change in Iran in an interview with The New York Times. “This is not a so-called regime change war.”― Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, addressing the media on Monday after the war began.
