Rising EV sales in Thailand, particularly in the third quarter, contributed to rising demand for auto loans, and this led to significant growth of the digital lending service on the app “GO by Krungsri Auto”. Congsin Congcar, head of Krungsri Auto Group, told a press conference on Friday that new digital loans for the first 10 months of this year rose 83% over the same period last year to 9.9 billion baht. Congsin said that EV loans accounted for 34% of the total. Krungsri Auto’s digital lending target for this year is 10.6 billion baht, a year-on-year increase of 53%. The amount is equivalent to 6% of its target for total new lending for the full year, which is 173 billion baht.

Homage to childhood dreamsThe centrepiece of ‘Dream Big.’ is a white Porsche 911 Carrera. In the hand of a larger-than-life figure with a racing driver’s helmet, the Coupé looks like a toy car. The artwork is an homage to the dreams of childhood. Digital artist and Porsche fan Chris Labrooy first created ‘Dream Big.’ via CGL and then transferred it into reality. With our ‘The Art of Dreams’ initiative, we want to inspire people to do just that – to dream,” says Robert Ader, Chief Mar-keting Officer (CMO) at Porsche.

Monrat Wiwitthanakorn, the owner of a perennial tree plantation in Phichit’s Pho Thale district, said on Tuesday that a 10 to 15-year-old resin tree can produce oil that can be mixed with diesel in a 50:50 ratio and serve as perfectly good fuel. “I have used this mixed oil in farm machines and found no problem. In fact, some machines also work with 100% oil from resin trees,” he said. It takes about two days to collect enough oil, he said, adding that the output varies from tree to tree. Monrat said he has been urging fellow farmers to plant resin trees on unused land as they are environmentally friendly and produce by-products that can help reduce farming costs.

Parliament President Chuan Leekpai said on Monday that the bill is now the second topic on the House’s agenda and can be moved up after a week’s notice. The marijuana bill, which was engineered by coalition partner Bhumjaithai, was sent back to the House committee that vetted the bill for a review in September. Bhumjaithai Party cried foul, asking why a coalition partner was trying to undermine its political popularity. The party had promised to legalise marijuana while campaigning for votes ahead of the 2019 general election.

While the number of foreign passengers on international flights at Kansai International Airport jumped to about 206,000 from about 71,000 in September after the government significantly eased entry restrictions on Oct. 11, the number of Japanese passengers also increased from about 74,000 to 95,000. However, the number of Chinese visitors to Japan, which had been booming before the coronavirus crisis, has been sluggish due to the impact of the “zero-Covid” strategy in China. Both the total number of international passengers and the number of foreign tourists have recovered to only 15% of the pre-pandemic level of October 2019. On the other hand, a recovery trend for domestic flights has become clear, mainly due to an increase in the number of domestic travellers as a result of nationwide travel support measures that began in October. Domestic passenger volume at the Kansai, Osaka International (Itami), and Kobe airports totalled 2.1 million, up 70% from the same month last year, the highest level since February 2020 and more than 90% compared to October 2019.

You won’t just waste less food, but you’ll also save money as a result. Fruits and vegetables that are irregularly shaped or damaged are frequently discarded because they don’t match consumer expectations, yet consuming them can help reduce food waste. Use proper food storagePlace the more important items in the front of your refrigerator or cabinet and the newer items in the back. It will prevent both financial loss and food waste. Apec, China reopening could boost growth to 4%Thailand's economy is expected to grow by 3-4% next year, growth supported by the tourism industry and as an outcome of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit, a seminar was told. Mr Sanan said he regarded this year as a challenge for the economy as the country faced crises brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has hit economic growth across the board. However, Mr Sanan is confident GDP will grow 3-4%, while export growth will rise to 3-5% following news that China will reopen its country by the middle of next year. China's reopening will result in an increase in foreign tourists in Thailand, doubling the number from this year to 20 million tourists. The chamber will expedite planning for the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy model and foreign investment in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), to ensure the pace of growth is maintained.

Substitute Fernandez made sure of the three points when he curled a superb shot into the top corner in the 87th minute. The result restored order for the Argentines in Group C after their shock opening 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia. Argentina, on three points, can guarantee progress with a win over Poland, top on four, in their final game on Wednesday. Mexico, who have now lost all four World Cup clashes with Argentina, have one point and must beat Saudi Arabia, on three, to have any chance of continuing their run of making the last 16 in the last seven World Cups, but even that might not be enough. With the prospect of an Argentina elimination, tensions were high on and off the ball in a scrappy first half but with the two sets of fans creating an electric atmosphere in the stadium.
