Is there anything better than the pre-season hope we all feel in the days and weeks leading up to a new NHL season? At this time of year, the Kool-Aid goes down real smooth and that’s why I’m feeling confident enough to present my way-too-early predictions for the 2022-23 season. MORE DOMINANCE FROM McDAVID AND DRAISAITLEven though predicting that Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl will best themselves again is hardly a bold take, I’m going to go ahead and offer both guys setting new career highs in points as my first Kool-Aid season prediction. As for Leon, I’m predicting another 50-goal, 110+ point season and doing it without getting anywhere near the credit he deserves from anyone outside of this market. Outside of that, he’s missed 4-6 games a couple of times and that’s pretty much it.

After putting the ball in play in the top of the first inning, Willson Contreras limped his way to first base and then limped his way into the dugout. It was *clear* that something was bothering him (probably his sore ankle), and frankly, I didn’t expect him to come out of the dugout. And this time, he decided to skip all that “sprinting to first” nonsense, by just hitting it over the wall. pic.twitter.com/sND9YoGmPo — Chicago Cubs (@Cubs) August 31, 2022Good plan. But all jokes aside, he is still limping pretty significantly around the bases.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has set up the road for economic and trade integration for all regional countries, including Pakistan. Needless to say, our government must explore all avenues the association provides to bring our trade volume up. Up until now, we have managed to maintain a trade volume of $11 billion, but this is nowhere near the potential we possess. Just recently, the federal government decided to grant a six-month reciprocal visa to transporters so that cross-border trade can be encouraged. We have been performing relatively well but we have not reached our full potential when it comes to regional economic activities.
