SHARJAH: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Police authorities arrested 97 Afghan nationals for damaging Sharjah stadium infrastructure and fighting around the stadium premises. Also, 117 people were arrested from other parts of UAE who were involved in the violence against Pakistani cricket fans. The situation worsened when Afghan bowler, Fareed Ahmad, got the wicket of Pakistan’s Asif Ali and both players exchanged harsh words, inciting the Afghanis to attack Pakistani fans with chairs. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Ramiz Raja, also expressed concerns over the incident and has decided to lodge a protest with the International Cricket Council (ICC) in the upcoming meeting. Emotions should be kept in check, we own our fans and we lodge a protest with the ICC,” he said.

The government has increased the tax on tobacco purchasing from Rs. The tax has been instrumental in the documentation of the purchase of tobacco by manufacturers of cigarettes and other tobacco products. However, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Farmers Rights Protection Association (KPFRPA) has opposed the government’s decision and wrongly associated it with farmers. All manufacturers who purchase tobacco from farmers must process tobacco through GLT before it can be used for the manufacturing of cigarettes. Illegal cigarette manufacturers are pressurizing the FBR through farmers for the withdrawal of this major documentation measure.

Edmonton Oilers training camp doesn’t begin until Thursday, September 22nd, yet many veterans have been in Edmonton skating together since the start of September. Today, Connor McDavid, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman joined the group that already consisted of Leon Draisaitl, Jack Campbell and others. The fact McDavid and Draisaitl are in town and on the ice for informal skates this early is a good thing, in my eyes. McDavid averaged 2.06 points per game in 16 games scoring 10-23-33, while Draisaitl averaged exactly two points/game scoring 7-23-32 in 16 games. Draisaitl scored 32 points despite suffering a high ankle sprain in game six of the opening round against LA.

If we provide them with good education like in urban areas, it would be very beneficial for them. Every individual should be allowed to get a quality education. In rural areas, the government should pay undivided heed to these areas, to empower the masses.

The first biggest takeaway when looking at how the Leafs’ penalty killers performed is how much more amazing the Carolina Hurricanes did on the penalty kill last year. When looking at Corsi Against/60 on the penalty kill, the Hurricanes had 8 of the top 11 players in the league (minimum of 50 minutes played.) Where the Leafs’ penalty kill really begins to show its full impact is when offense is brought into the equation. To some extent, there is something to be said for 10 out of 13 of the Leafs penalty killers who played over 25 minutes returning. When it comes to the Leafs blueline on the penalty kill the utilization has been interesting.
