All these universities are following the “Policy Guidelines for Implementation of Uniform Semester System in HEIs of Pakistan”. It is because of these guidelines that university students can’t say a word against their teachers even when the teachers are not present. - Advertisement -On June 3, in a question/answer session of the Senate, Bahramand Tangi, a PPP senator, raised this issue on the floor of the House and asked the federal minister for education to change the policy guidelines. According to him, with the help of these guidelines, teachers might blackmail their students (male/female). The policy guidelines could also lead to financial and moral corruption and favouritism.

The Long March failed to force the PDM’s hand, but his present offer carries the implication that he might reconsider his decision to dissolve the KP and Punjab Assemblies. First, it should think carefully about the implications of holding provincial elections in more than half the country, and having to live with the results. By agreeing to earlier National Assembly elections, they would ha\ve an input into the date of provincial elections they do not presently enjoy. - Advertisement -It is not as if the PTI and the PDM are that far apart. By next August, the PDM will have to concede an election date in October.

The Punjab government on Saturday claimed that it is owed Rs176.353 billion by the federal government which has not released the provincial share of the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award for the last seven months. The issue was raised by the Punjab Finance Minister, Mohsin Laghari along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Finance Minister Taimur Jhagra and the spokesperson of the Punjab government, Musrat Cheema in a press conference at the Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR) office. “The federal government is weakening the federation by not paying the provincial share at a time when provinces are dealing with flood disasters with their own resources,” he added. “Despite the economic crisis caused by the non-cooperation of the federal government, the Punjab government gave a package of Rs14 billion for infrastructural damage caused by the floods. This was only made possible by controlling other developmental expenses of the province,” noted the provincial minister.

GDB 25.0 Wrap Up: It wasn’t pretty but we’ll take it, Oilers power play leads them to 5-3 win over MontrealSo long, Habs fans, and thanks for paying the inflated after-market ticket prices. To make matters worse, it wasn’t even surprising to see Nick Suzuki give the Canadiens the lead with a power play goal because that’s just kinda how things are going right now. The Oilers power play was deadly in this hockey game and the three goals they scored on five chances with the man advantage are the main reason we’re celebrating a win right now. PRESENTED BY BETWAYTHE FACE PALMERSNick Suzuki opened the scoring (1-0) with a power play goal on a missile of a shot from the circle that beat Skinner on the short side between the arm and post. Arber Xhakej tied the game (3-3) with a second power play goal after his shot from the high circle made its way through traffic and past Skinner down low on the blocker side.

Share:Over the centuries we have been hearing that corruption is cancer for every nation. However, it is not only corruption which is cancer for every nation, there are certain other factors too. In this regard, I wanted to share a personal experience which compels me to write that there are other factors too which are cancers. We always cry that our nation is backward but my question is, have we taken any step for its betterment? If the future of our nation will be begging on roads, do we think that the nation will grow and prosper.

China on Friday accused Washington of benefitting from the crisis in Ukraine as Europe suffers from sky rocketing inflation and energy crisis in winter. “The US has made a fortune in the Ukraine crisis, while Europe is bleeding and paying for higher energy prices due to inflation,” said Zhao Lijian, spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry. He was commenting on the US Inflation Reduction Act, legislation signed in August for urgent investments to lower prescription drug costs, health care costs, and energy costs. French President Emmanuel Macron, who met US counterpart Joe Biden on Thursday, said the Inflation Reduction Act is "super aggressive" toward European companies, according to a report. China has not directly supported Russia in its military campaign, but the two countries have declared a "no limits" partnership.

GDB 24.0 Wrap Up: Oilers got a good start but the wheels fell off from there, fall 5-3 in MinnesotaMy hatred of the Minnesota Wild grows by the day. Final Score: 5-3 WildWelcome to our Oilers game day content presented by NHL betting site Betway! I know that the Jacques Lemaire years of the Minnesota Wild are long over, but I still carry a hatred for this team that I don’t think will ever go away. So when Leon Draisaitl opened the scoring with an early power play goal, my brain was almost confused about what was happening given the ground level expectations I had before puck drop. Leon Draisaitl opened the scoring (1-0) with a power play goal from his office in the circle after Evan Bouchard set him up for a one-timer that he blasted past Fleury.

A senior leader of the PTI told The Express Tribune that the PTI was willing to talk with the federal government regarding the next election. However, he claimed that the primary issue was the “worsening economic situation” in the country. “Principally we agree that all national and provincial assemblies’ elections should be held on one date,” says PTI leader said. Confirming the development, senior PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry in a Twitter post said that if the government announced early elections, his party was ready to negotiate framework of elections and changes in ECP. “Therefore, we should go for early elections in Punjab and continue with the federal government,” he added.
