Imran Khan expressed his concerns saying that the ruling coalition might not hold general elections even in October 2023. Slamming the Electoral watchdog’s Sikandar Sultan Raja , the PTI chief said that "The election commission is conniving with them. A very dishonest man is involved with them, who will tell them ways to delay elections.”

PML-N moves to nullify Imran's threat of PA dissolution
The PML-N leadership has reportedly given a green signal to submit a motion of no-confidence in the provincial assembly in a bid to prevent the possible dissolution of the provincial assembly by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). As per PML-N sources, the no-confidence motion was signed by party members and they were directed to gather in the office of former provincial education minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan.
