The Day After 30.0: Edmonton’s winning streak over Nashville extends to eight gamesPhoto credit: © Steve Roberts-USA TODAY SportsAs much as going up against the Minnesota Wild often feels like an automatic loss, the Edmonton Oilers facing the Nashville Predators feels like money in the bank. The Oilers rolled into Nashville on the second night of a back-to-back after a frustrating loss to the Wild and picked up a casual 6-3 win. Their winning streak against the Predators is now eight games and it dates all the way back to February of 2019. Leon Draisaitl, the Mayor of Nashville, led the way with five points, giving him 35 points over 22 career games against the Preds…“There are other teams that sometimes you struggle against a little bit. The win was his first since all the way back on November 26 when the Oilers were in New York.

The announcement also came a day before a visit of a Pakistani delegation, led by foreign affairs state minister Hina Rabbani Khan, to Kabul. The TTP, also known as Pakistani Taliban, is a separate unit from the Afghan Taliban but both share a similar hardline ideology. The TTP’s announcement at this time adds challenges for the unstable Pakistani state on many fronts. TTP’s resumption of attacks, therefore, puts pressure on the army’s financial brackets and makes it challenging for the army to relaunch its offensive under restrictive financial resources. The TTP’s decision to resume attacks, therefore, multiplied already daunting challenges.

To kick off this week’s Tuesday podcast, we got started with a look at the line combinations and whether or not Jay Woodcroft should adjust his top six based on how quiet everyone was last night in Minnesota. Even though all of us think that Connor and Leon should probably be split up, what happens with the rest of the top six is up for debate. Changing gears, we dove into the analytics debate a little bit and whether or not it makes sense to rely solely on the numbers without matching them up with the eye test. Looking ahead to tonight’s contest with the Nashville Predators , we walked through some expectations from the crease outward and what the Oilers need to do to secure two points. Leafs/Ducks Preview: Leafs Morning TakeTrying to avenge an ugly collapse at the Honda Center in late October, the Leafs are home to the Anaheim Ducks tonight. If you remember that game, Toronto blew a 3-1 third period lead before ultimately losing 4-3 in OT. The Tuesday edition of Leafs Morning Take focused on that and how unbelievably, Toronto is 14-1-4 since the outing. The Leafs, as a team, have notched at least a point in 14 straight games (11-0-3) while Mitch Marner has a personal 22 game point streak going, too. Seriously, the Ducks PK is firing at a 66 percent clip, which uh, isn’t very good.

Fans were elated to see Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone coming together for Pathaan after their 2014 offering, Happy New year. Consequently, when the first song, Besharam Rang, from the action-thriller released on Monday, it was trending in less than a few hours. I may get a lot of flak for this but both Deepika and SRK didn't need to copy what every other Bollywood star kid is doing in songs these days. deepika and srk are both extremely hot and attractive people. And SRK looks like a lecherous uncle & a Hrithik wannabe https://t.co/DpCKBt1D63 — Shalu Dhyani (@ShaluDhyani) December 13, 2022There is something uncomfortable about this new song featuring Deepika and SRK.

Final Score: 2-1 WildWelcome to our Oilers game day content presented by NHL lines site Betway! I love the Oilers’ power play so much that I consider writing poetry and sonnets to express my affection. A set play to be sure, the Wild only needed seven seconds of power play time to get this goal done. The Minnesota Wild scored one goal on three chances with the power play and I’m not even surprised anymore.
