ChatGPT is a dialogue-based chatbot that understands human language and can generate very human-like texts. Launched on November 30, ChatGPT had over one million users in less than a week. The AI system can write poems, essays, scripts, and translate or summarize texts. ChatGPT could also be used to generate content for websites, answer customer queries, provide recommendations and create automated chatbots. Currently, however, the chatbot lacks nuance, critical-thinking skills or ethical decision-making ability, skillls deemed vital for journalism.

Punjab Assembly to be dissolved in first phase
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to dissolve the Punjab Assembly in the initial phase, while the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in the second phase. The meeting reviewed the current political situation, party’s strategy and future course of action at length, deciding that the K-P Assembly would be dissolved in the second phase. All members from Rawalpindi confirmed the decision to dissolve the Punjab Assembly and resign from the National Assembly, the sources added. He reiterated that free and fair elections were the only solution to the current political instability. He reiterated that economic stability could not return in absence of political stability in the country.

Imran accuses Gen Bajwa of giving ‘NRO-2 to thieves’

PTI's ultimatum: announce general elections before Dec 20
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday gave the ruling Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) an ultimatum until December 20 to “come up with a final formula” for elections. PIA flight takes off after 15-hour delay
A spokesperson for the PIA confirmed that the flight (PK-261) was scheduled to depart from Islamabad Airport at 10 pm on December 9 but a technical fault impeded its operation. The flight eventually took off at 12pm on Saturday from Islamabad Airport. Meanwhile, frustrated having had to wait endlessly, the passengers lodged their protest and staged a sit-in at the airport departure lounge over the inordinate delay of the flight. They remained seated for two and a half hours, following which they were told to wait in the departure lounge, the protesting passengers said. “PIA staff took regular and complete care of the passengers,” he added.

Yet another disappointment
Nor have we qualified for any mega event like the Olympics or the World Cup. If the situation remains like this, I don’t think we will be able to qualify for the next Olympics or the World Cup. Such a pathetic performance from a country which has three and four gold medals at Olympics and World Cup respectively is unacceptable. The importance of the FIH Pro League is that the champions in 2023/24 and 2024/2025 will earn direct qualification in the World Cup. The only chance for qualification for the Olympics is if Pakistan win the Asian Games and Asia Cup for the World Cup.

Harassing teachers
