KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in a joint search operation on Thursday arrested two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operatives from Karachi. As per CTD, the joint Intelligence-Based Operation was carried out in different areas of Kemari. The CTD spokesperson said the arrested were wanted in several heinous crimes. The Rangers spokesperson stated that the arrested individual was identified as Abdul Ghaffar alias Amjad and recovered the explosives from his possession. The law enforcers revealed that the arrested individual was a close associate of the commander of the banned militant organization, Muhammad Ali alias Mufti.

Accordingly, MFD was regulating exports through the Pakistan Fish Inspection and Quality Control Act, 1997 and Pakistan Fish Inspection & Quality Control Rules, 1998. Notably, the fee for the registration of fish processing plants and establishments has been substantially increased from Rs25,000 to Rs100,000. Moreover, the fee for conducting tests and analysis related to the quality and safety of fish and fishery products has been revised.
