India’s government will push Apple, Samsung and other mobile phone manufacturers to prioritise rolling out software upgrades to support 5G in the country, amid concerns that many of their models are not ready for the recently launched high-speed service. But Apple’s iPhone models, including the latest iPhone 14, and many of Samsung’s premier phones do not have software compatible with supporting 5G in India, according to three industry sources and Airtel’s website. Apple Inc, Samsung Electronics, Vivo, Xiaomi Corp, as well as the three domestic telecom operators, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Airtel’s website on Tuesday showed “Apple yet to update software” for all of Apple iPhones’ 12 to 14 models under its 5G compatible section. The lack of 5G software upgrades has already irked users.

Many people even after realising that they are wrong find it very difficult to admit it. Admitting that you are wrong does not make you less of who you are. Contrarily, saying sorry does not make the other person smarter; it makes you more matured. Admit when you are wrong and humbly ask for forgiveness from your spouse, pastor or anyone you have offended. Please, do not again say that you have a reason for doing the wrong you did.

THE principle of the seed is the foundation of virtually all kingdom operations and all human operations, so success is dependent on its successful operation. Every farmer understands the meaning of this principle: We reap what we sow, more than we sow, and later than we sow.” Charles Stanley. “And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:11-12. In Mark 4:14 we see the sower planting words and in Luke 8:11 we see that the word of God is a seed.

An ex-policeman has killed at least 34 people, most of them children, in a gun and knife attack at a preschool daycare centre in north-east Thailand. Police say he then killed himself and his family after a manhunt following the attack in Nong Bua Lamphu province. Children and adults are among the casualties at the nursery – police say the attacker shot and stabbed his victims before fleeing the scene. A teacher who survived the attack told Thailand’s Thairath TV the gunman used to drop off his child at the nursery and had seemed polite. The nursery attack comes less than a month after an army officer shot dead two of his colleagues at a base in Bangkok.

French author Annie Ernaux was awarded this year’s Nobel Prize in literature for “the courage and clinical acuity with which she uncovers the roots, estrangements and collective restraints of personal memory,” the Swedish Academy said Thursday. Gurnah was only the sixth Nobel literature laureate born in Africa, and the prize has long faced criticism that it is too focused on European and North American writers. The prizes to Gurnah in 2021 and U.S. poet Louise Glück in 2020 helped the literature prize move on from years of controversy and scandal. In 2018, the award was postponed after sex abuse allegations rocked the Swedish Academy, which names the Nobel literature committee, and sparked an exodus of members. The money comes from a bequest left by the prize’s creator, Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel, in 1895.
