Mizo optimistic Al Hilal move will ‘open doors’

Departing Bayelsa United striker and current second-highest goal scorer in the Nigeria Premier Football League, Robert Mizo, is hopeful his move to Libyan giants, Al Hilal Benghazi, will open up more opportunities for his budding career, PUNCH Sports Extra reports. Bayelsa United confirmed on Sunday that Mizo had joined the Libyans on a three-and-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee. “I’m aware of the prospects ahead in the NPFL but my move to Al Hilal will not just open doors for me but will give other players the opportunity to come up as well. There will be new challenges for me and I must be ready to conquer them,” Mizo told PUNCH Sports Extra. The striker has scored half of Bayelsa United’s 20 goals this season and his departure leaves them now looking elsewhere for goals.
