Taranaki's Yarrow Stadium returns as a DHL Super Rugby Pacific venue for the Chiefs on Friday when playing the Queensland Reds. All Blacks locks Josh Lord and Tupou Vaa'i will lead the way alongside props Jared Proffit and Bradley Slater. He had grown up seeing full houses during the 2012-13 seasons when the Chiefs won their Super Rugby titles, and it was enjoyable seeing the fans getting behind them again. He was hoping the Taranaki fans would continue that trend at the weekend. Chiefs v Queensland Reds: Friday12 May, 7.05pm, Yarrow Stadium, New Plymouth.

Although they have sympathy for a capital gains tax, they are nor fighting for that specifically, nor for any other so-called progressive tax, such as a wealth tax, an inheritance tax or a transactions tax. I have investments on which I pay tax and I still do work." Like Mills, Rands says he is not proposing any particular tax reform, he is just supporting the principle of a fairer tax system. "I support a tax system which is fair to all New Zealanders.

Federated Farmers Boss Hog, Andrew Hoggard, a man who is made up of 5%milk powder, 10% dirt and 85% sweat is the new candidate for ACT. Federated Farmers are a climate denial glee club who stand for corporate farming interests, having their king join a climate denial Party like ACT WHILE the billionaire class keep donating to the right is proof positive that there is a class war in NZ happening right before our eyes. The money class and the polluters who benefit from lax regulation are all ensuring their political class win the next election so that they regain their dominance of the system. There is a class war happening in NZ and because all the Left have as political vocabulary is identity politics, they have no response. The top 5% of NZers own roughly 50% of NZs wealth, while the bottom 50% of NZers own a miserable 5%!

While things feel bearable at the moment, most forecasts suggest that Kiwi families could be in for some tough times as those rising interest rates start to bite. “Most economists are definitely tipping that the unemployment rate will start rising from here,” BusinessDesk deputy head of news Rebecca Howard tells the Front Page podcast. On top of this, Kiwi families also face the prospect of a hard-hitting interest rate crunch as mortgages come up for renewal. “There’s data showing that around 50 per cent of mortgage holders will have to refix in the next 12 months. So that’s an extra $622 per fortnight.”This will mark the start of a very tough period for Kiwi families as they see their disposable income disappear in a bid to keep up with these high mortgage costs.
