Indonesia asks India to export 900,000 tons of onions
Indonesia hopes to acquire 900,000 tons of onions from India amid the ban on exports. Indonesia is of course India’s largest trade partner in Asean, and imports onions mostly from the US, India and New Zealand. In April-October of the ongoing financial year, India exported 1.4 million tons of onions, including 36,146 tons to Indonesia. During the corresponding period of FY23, it exported 1.35 million tons. In FY23, India’s onion export totalled 2.5 million tons, including 116,695 tons to Indonesia, according to data from the commerce and industry ministry and exporters.

Jubilant Food Share Price: Jubilant Food shares drop 0.94% as Sensex rises
Shares of the Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. traded at Rs 555.95 on BSE at 12:28PM (IST) on Friday, down 0.94 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 412.2 and a high of Rs 586.35.Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 156.11 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 3.56 per share and 14.26 times its book value, as per BSE data.A total of 46,967 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:28PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 36690.69 crore and is part of the Restaurant & QSR industry.The scrip has been an underperformer , up 10.44 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 18.6 per cent gain in Sensex During the day, the stock moved between Rs 565.65 and Rs 554.35.Promoters held 41.94 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2023. FII and MF ownership in Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. stood at 26.14 per cent and 15.54 per cent, respectively.

Milk Subsidy: महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने अपने राज्य के दूध उत्पादकों और किसानों को नए साल पर विशाल तोहफा दिया है. इसके बाद दूध उत्पादक किसानों को सरकार के माध्यम से प्रति लीटर 5 रुपये सीधे उनके बैंक खाते में डाले जाएंगे. नवम्बर, 2023 के आंकड़ों के अनुसार सहकारी दुग्ध संघों और निजी दुग्ध परियोजनाओं के माध्यम से मिल्क कलेक्शन 149 लाख लीटर प्रतिदिन है. प्रति लीटर 5 रुपये की प्रस्तावित सब्सिडी के अनुसार, एक महीने की अवधि के लिए 230 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित सब्सिडी की जरूरत होगी.

CM Dr Mohan Yadav removed the Commissioner even before reaching Rewa: सीएम ने रीवा आने से पहले रीवा कमिश्नर को हटाया, भोपाल व इंदौर कलेक्टर बदलेरीवा। सीएम मोहन यादव ने रीवा आगमन के पहले ही रीवा संभागायुक्त को अनिल सुचारी का स्थानातंरण कर दिया है। इसके साथ ही भोपाल व इंदौर कलेक्टर को बदल दिया है; इस संबंध में आदेश जारी कर दिया है। रीवा संभागायुक्त अनिल सुचारी को हटाकर उनका स्थानांतरण सामान्य प्रशासन सचिव सामान्य प्रशासन में किया गया है।अब रीवा का नया आयुक्त गोपालचंद्र डाड को बनाया गया है साथ ही शहडोल का अतिरिक्त प्रभार दिया गया है। गोपाल चंद्र डाड इसके पहले आयुक्त चिकित्सा शिक्षा रहे है।बता दें कि रीवा में शुक्रवार को संभागीय समीक्षा करनी थी। इसके पहले ही रीवा आयुक्त को हटाया दिया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त इंदौर के कलेक्टर इलैया राजा टी को हटा दिया गया है। अब उन्हे उप सचिव पर्यटन का जबावदारी दी थी। वहीं भोपाल कलेक्टर आशीष सिंह इंदौर के नए कलेक्टर होगें। भोपाल कलेक्टर अब कौलेशन्द्र विक्रम सिंह को बनाया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त संजय गुप्ता को इंदौर का श्रम आयुक्त बना दिया है।कलेक्टर भी बदलने के संकेतबताया जा रहा है कि रीवा संभागायुक्त के बाद रीवा कलेक्टर और एसपी के भी स्थानांतरण के जल्द ही आदेश जारी हो सकते है। बता दे कि चुनाव के पहले ही बड़ी प्रशासनिक सर्जरी हुई थी। इसके बाद मोहन यादव के सीएम बनने के बाद समीक्षा बैठक में लगातार अधिकारियों को हटाया जा रहा है। इसके पहले जबलपुर कलेक्टर सौरव सुमन को समीक्षा के बाद हटाया दिया गया था।

Chilika records marginal rise in bird count

The number of migratory bird species that congregated at the lagoon this year also recorded a slight increase as the figure rose from 105 in 2023 to 108 in 2024. This included 10,93,049 birds of 105 migratory species and 38,880 birds of 79 wetland-dependent species. DCM Shriram inks ₹12,000-cr MoU with Gujarat govt
DCM Shriram Ltd, one of the largest Chlor Alkali manufacturers in the country, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat to invest a proposed ₹12,000 crore in manufacturing of Chemical and Petrochemicals products in Bharuch by 2028, stated an official release here Thursday. The MoU was signed in a ceremony held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat on January 3, in the presence of chief minister Bhupendrabhai Patel along with other ministers and senior officials from the state government. The ceremony was a part of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 which will take place on 10-12th January 2024 in Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. DCM Shriram currently has significant Chlor Alkali facilities in Bharuch, Gujarat and aims at increasing the existing capacities while adding new products to its Chlor-Alkali portfolio, the release added.
