Bharat Tex exhibition next month to bring over 3500 vendors
Bharat Tex 2024, a worldwide textile exhibition to be hosted here from 26th-29th February, is projected to attract over 3,500 exhibitors and over 3,000 international customers. Rachna Shah, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, stated that the exhibition will bring together stakeholders from all stages of the textiles value chain, involving government and industry leaders. The major event would provide India with a rare opportunity to promote its status as an international procurement and investment destination. Shah elaborated that a “Centre of Sustainable Fashion Technology” will be formed to foster capacity building and sustainability research. It has been projected that over a period of five years, the PLI scheme for textiles will result in fresh investment of more than Rs.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor gives nod to GST (Second Amendment) Bill, 2023
Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has approved the Delhi Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment) Bill, 2023, which will ensure uniformity between the central and state legislations on provisions of the GST. It was introduced for consideration with prior recommendations of the L-G as required under Section 22 of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991. The GST Council in its 47th, 48th and 49th meetings recommended various amendments in provisions of the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017. Through the Finance Act, 2023, the Central Government amended the CGST Act, 2017. The amendments in the DGST Act, 2017, are in sync with the Finance Act, 2023, notified in the Gazette of India on March 31, 2023.

Rewa News: परिवहन विभाग के उडऩदस्ता की अवैध वसूली का पर्दाफाश, SDM की कार्रवाई के बाद मचा हड़कंमरीवा। शहर के रतहरा बाईपास में लंबे समय से परिवहन विभाग की अवैध वसूली का पर्दाफाश हुआ है। बुधवार को शाम अचानक SDM वैशाली जैन ने राजस्व व पुलिस के संयुक्त अमले के साथ टोल प्लाजा में दबिश दी। इस छापा मार कार्रवाई के दौरान ने एक व्यक्ति आरक्षक सहित तीन लोगों को पकड़ा है।इसके साथ ही उनके पास को परिवहन की रसीद और एंट्री रसीद जब्त की है। इसके बाद इनके खिलाफ मामला दर्ज करया है। SDM की इस कार्रवाई के बाद परिवहन विभाग में हड़कंम मचाया गया है। वहीं कार्रवाई के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में वाहन चालकों ने परिवहन विभाग की इस अवैध वसूली को लेकर बताया है।बताया जा रहा है रतहरा स्थित आरटीओ उडऩदस्ता वाहन में निजी कटरों के माध्यम से अवैध वसूली की शिकायत लगातार SDM को मिल रही थी। इस पर एसडीएम (SDM) ने बुधवार की शाम को अचानक दबिश दी। इस पर एसडीएम (SDM) ने वैशाली जैन ने रतहरा पहुंच गई है। जहां आरटीओ (RTO) लिखे वाहन में आरक्षक बैठा मिला है।वहीं तीन अन्य कटर में जिसमे नरेन्द्र द्विवेदी और प्रदीप मिश्रा वाहनों को रोककर उनकी चेकिंग करते मिले है। इस संबंध में जब एसडीएम (SDM) ने उनसे कोई लिखित दस्तावेज विभाग के मांगे तो प्रस्तुत नहीं कर सके। इस पर एसडीएम (SDM) ने आरक्षक सहित चारों के विरूद्ध कार्रवाई की है। इस कार्रवाई की भनक लगते हुए पूरे प्रशासन में हड़कंम मच गया है।बताया जा रहा है कि इस वाहन में चेकिंग के दौरान वाहन चालकों को बतौर एंट्री पर्ची प्रदान की जाती थी। साथ ही इसी पचीं की जांच यह करते थे। इस कार्रवाई के दौरान नायब तहसीलदार यतीश शुक्ला सहित पुलिस विभाग का अमला मौजूद था।आरक्षक स्तर के अधिकारी को नहीं चेकिंग का अधिकारबताया जा रहा है कि परिवहन विभाग में आरक्षक तक किसी को वाहन चेकिंग का अधिकार नहीं है। वाहन चेकिंग के लिए परिवहन विभाग में पदस्थ निरीक्षक या फिर सहायक उपनिरीक्षक स्तर के अधिकारी की मौजदूगी में वाहन चेकिंग हो सकती है। विशेष परिस्थितियों में यह अधिकार वरिष्ठ प्रधान आरक्षक को है लेकिन वह चालानी कार्रवाई वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के हस्ताक्षर उपरांत ही कर सकता है। इसके बावजूद परिवहन विभाग के इस उडऩ दस्ते में एक आरक्षक और तीन निजी कर्मचारी वाहन चेकिंग कर वसूली कर रहे थे।
