Odisha votes in 4th phase of Assembly polls amid tight security
Polling is currently underway for 42 seats in Odisha in the fourth and last phase of voting in the Assembly polls. In this election season, the state witnessed simultaneous voting for the Lok Sabha and Assembly seats on May 13, 20, 25 and June 1. Besides the Assembly elections, voting is also ongoing in the Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha seats today. Sixty-six candidates are contesting for the six Lok Sabha seats, while 394 contestants are competing for the 42 Assembly segments. The exit polls for the Odisha Assembly elections will be released on Saturday after voting ends at 6 pm.

This would go against its core function: the pursuit of truth in a spirit of inquiry and the exchange of divergent views. In some other American universities, the police had been called in to quell student protests on the same issue; numerous students, even teachers, were arrested. Public universities in India often manifest one of the worst aspects of party rivalries, including manipulation in admissions and recruitment. Certain Indian universities have experienced in recent years clamp-downs by the State even on peaceful protests or meetings. That thin red line between protecting the space for free intellectual inquiry and repressing the freedom to protest is still elusive.

आंतकी गुरपतवंत सिंह पन्नू।पंजाब में शनिवार को लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए वोटिंग होने वाली है। इससे पहले सिख फॉर जस्टिस के प्रमुख खालिस्तानी आतंकी गुरपतवंत सिंह पन्नू का एक वीडियो सामने आया है। जिसमें वह ब्लू स्टार ऑपरेशन के बारे में बात करके लोगों को भड़काने की कोशिश कर रहा है। इसके. वीडियो में आतंकी पन्नू ने कहा कि 6 जून को ब्लू स्टार ऑपरेशन की 40वीं बरसी है। जरनैल सिंह भिंडरावाले और सेना आमने-सामने आ गए थे। ब्लू स्टार ऑपरेशन में कई लोगों की मौत भी हुई थी।पन्नू ने कहा कि आज वह चाहते हैं कि सिख युवा श्री अकाल तख्त साहिब के जत्थेदार ज्ञानी रघुबीर सिंह को ज्यादा से ज्यादा ईमेल भेजें ताकि वह खालिस्तान रेफरेंडम मुहिम पर अपनी मुहर लगा सकें। पन्नू ने कहा कि पंजाब भारत के संविधान को नहीं मानता। पन्नू ने वीडियो में 40 साल पहले सेना द्वारा श्री दरबार साहिब में घुसने का वीडियो भी शेयर किया।सिख फॉर जस्टिस के प्रमुख खालिस्तानी आतंकी गुरपतवंत सिंह पन्नू।कौन है आतंकी गुरपतवंत पन्नूभारत सरकार ने आतंकी गतिविधियां चलाने के आरोप में पन्नू के संगठन SFJ को 2019 में गैरकानूनी गतिविधियां रोकथाम अधिनियम (UAPA) के तहत प्रतिबंधित कर दिया था। गृह मंत्रालय ने अपनी अधिसूचना में कहा था कि SFJ सिखों के लिए जनमत संग्रह की आड़ में पंजाब में अलगाववाद और चरमपंथी विचारधारा का समर्थन कर रहा है।पन्नू पर साल 2020 में अलगाववाद को बढ़ावा देने और पंजाबी सिख युवाओं को हथियार उठाने के लिए उकसाने का आरोप लगा था। इसके बाद केंद्र सरकार ने 1 जुलाई 2020 को पन्नू को UAPA के तहत आतंकी घोषित कर दिया था। 2020 में सरकार ने SFJ से जुड़े 40 से ज्यादा वेब पेज और यूट्यूब चैनल पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया था।

नाबालिग बेटी के साथ दुष्कर्म करने वाला पिता गिरफ्तार
रीवा। शहर में पिता और पुत्री के रिश्ते को शर्मशार करने वाला मामला सामने आया है जहां पिता ने अपनी पुत्री के साथ लगातार दुष्कर्म किया है। अब मामला सामने आने के बाद पुलिस ने गंभीर अपराधिक धाराओं में पिता के विरूद्ध मामला दर्ज कर गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।घटना शहर के अंतर्गत रिहायसी कॉलोनी की है। बताया जा रहा है कि समान थानांतर्गत आवासीय कॉलोनी में रहने वाली नाबालिग किशोरी की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने पिता को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पूछतांछ के दौरान किशोरी ने पुलिस को बताया कि मां नर्स होने के कारण वह काम में बाहर चली जाती थी।इसी दौरान पिता ने होली ने दिन किशोरी के साथ दुष्कर्म किया। इसके बाद वह लगातार दुष्कर्म करता रहा है। दो दिन पहले पड़ोसियों को इसकी जानकारी होने पर उन्होंने मां को जानकारी दी।
