On Saturday, the 42-year-old actor shared stories on her Instagram handle as she was on her way to the wrap party of the film alongside her mother Madhu Chopra. Dutch forward Vivianne Miedema signed a three-year contract with Manchester City, the Women’s Super League (WSL) club said on Friday, after the league’s all-time top scorer left Arsenal at the end of the 2023-24 season. Miedema, who has netted 80 goals in the WSL, won four trophies with Arsenal during a seven-year stay with the club. Hurricane Debby to bring heavy rains and catastropic flooding to Florida, Georgia and South Carolina
Debby was located about 100 miles (161 kilometers) west of Tampa, Florida, with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph (120 kph). The storm was moving north at 12 mph (19 kph), the National Hurricane Center in Miami said Sunday evening. Debby is the fourth named storm of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season after Tropical Storm Alberto, Hurricane Beryl and Tropical Storm Chris, all of which formed in June. Forecasters warned heavy amounts of rain from Debby could spawn catastrophic flooding in Florida, South Carolina and Georgia. The sparsely populated Big Bend region in the Florida Panhandle also was hit last year by Hurricane Idalia, which made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane.

Rupee tumbles 31 paise to close at all-time low of 84 against the US dollar
MUMBAI: The rupee slumped 31 paise to settle at an all-time low of 84.03 (provisional) against the US dollar on Monday, following a sell-off in broader global markets amid rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and worries over recession in the US. At the interbank foreign exchange market, the local unit opened at 83.78 and touched an intra-day high of 83.76 and a low of 84.03 against the dollar during the session. It finally settled at its fresh record of 84.03 (provisional) against the American currency, which was down 31 paise against its previous close. On Friday, the rupee settled 1 paisa higher at 83.72 against the US dollar in a range-bound trade. "We expect the rupee to trade with a negative bias on risk aversion in the global markets.
