The poll which was conducted from June 28, 2021, showed some 637 votes represented by 19.53% were however satisfied with the security agencies handling of protest in the country. In all, a total of 3,261 votes were garnered from the poll. Already youth groups such as the #FixtheCountry, the Economic Fighters League have been in Court battling with the Police to give them the green light to move ahead with their protests. The loan facility, the Committee's report explained is aside a US$100 million and US$130 million loans taken from the World Bank back in 2020. “This is aside US$100 million and US$130 million loans taken from the World Bank for the COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness Plans 1 and 2 in 2020,” the report said. Additionally, portions of the loan from the World Bank will also go toward supporting vulnerable groups in society.

Simon Osei-Mensah made the first appearance and mounted a spirited defence of his decision to order army personnel to the community. He claims to have received intel and did not have enough time to convey a Regional Security meeting on the intel as required by law. He saw nothing wrong with his unilateral decision to engage the service of army personnel contrary to what the law as pointed out by the committee members state. He dismissed suggestions from a member of the committee that the media could have exaggerated the incident.

Viral videos capture Asiedu Nketia standing in his car and jamming to the various reggae tunes that were played. From the Accra Mall where the demonstration commenced to Parliament where everything was brought to close, Asiedu Nketia is reported to have done his procession in his car. Speaking in an interview with Adom FM, Asiedu Nketia said took that decision to prevent his supporters from flouting the coronavirus rules. Victims of acts of violence from Ejura, Ablekuma Central, Odododiodioo, Banda etc must all not be denied justice. In the absence of the speaker, leaders of the Majority and Minority caucuses received the petition promising that appropriate action will be taken on the demands. According to GhanaWeb sources, the speaker is currently out of the country on official assignment hence his absence when the 'March for Justice' protesters arrived to present their petition. This position is corroborated by Joy News journalist, Joseph Opoku Gakpo who disclosed on the station's Top Story programme of July 6 that Alban Bagbin was currently in Nigeria. Before arriving in parliament, the protest leaders had stopped at the presidency to present a copy of the petition to the president. The party's General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Women’s Organiser Hannah Bissiw presented the petition which was received at the Jubilee House by a Deputy Chief of Staff, Emmanuel Adumua-Bossman.

The new arrangement will see the spouses of the first and second gentlemen officially being paid salaries which is a departure from the previous practice of paying them allowances. Under Article 71, the First Lady and Second Lady are not office holders so no one can determine their benefits under that article. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Faustina Acheampong, Fulera Liman etc have all been receiving salaries since President Kufuor's time. Oppong-Nkrumah disclosed further that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2019 established a committee chaired by Professor Yaa Ntiamoa-Baidu to make proposals on allowances paid to wives of President and his vice. It is, therefore, not true as it is being circulated that the President has approved of emoluments to the First Lady and Second Lady,” he addeed.

The march was to protest over what they believe is injustice being perpetrated by the Akufo-Addo government.
