1966 Coup: When Quaison-Sackey moved from Nkrumah's camp to the NLC

At the time, Quaison-Sackey was serving in Nkrumah’s government and had been assigned to attend the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Upon realising that other government officials had been detained, the foreign minister quickly pledged allegiance to the military-police junta in order to continue serving. INTERPOL deletes Red Notice against Ken Ofori-Atta over political concerns

Commission determined that the data registered by the NCB of Ghana were not compliant with INTERPOL’s rules and should therefore be deleted. ECOWAS foreign minister has instructed me to provide fugu for all African foreign ministers - Ablakwa
