Air Peace never incurred such a loss, we never paid rentals contrary to his lies. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority(NCAA) can attest to the purchase and ownership of the aircraft by Air Peace. Air Peace never stopped the Dubai operations because of lack of capacity. Air Peace commenced operations into the UAE in July, 2019, but in October 2022, the UAE Government announced a total visa ban on Nigerians. The persisting non-issuance of visas and the accompanying inconveniences necessitated the suspension of our Dubai operations from November 22, 2022 till date.

Israel's interior minister on Monday ordered a reexamination of the legal status of Ethiopian national Maza Dekomo, the mother of eight-year-old Israeli girl Geffen, both of whom were scheduled to be deported to Ethiopia this summer. The mother's legal status in Israel was terminated following the death of her Israeli husband some four months ago, and her deportation was scheduled for July. The order from Interior Minister Moshe Arbel was filed concurrent with the ministry’s response to the Supreme Court, following the family’s appeal of the deportation order. Atkacho Getahon, Geffen’s paternal uncle, told Haaretz that the Interior Minister’s decision provided a correct and proper solution to their request. He said it is not an issue to be decided by direct appeal to himself or to the interior minister.

Dallas-based semi-private charter jet service JSX has responded to “outrageously inaccurate and highly irresponsible allegations” from Fort Worth-based American Airlines and various pilot unions, criticizing the charter jet company’s business model. Legacy airlines such as American have been objecting to attempts to expand the niche space in which JSX operates in, a charter jet service that sells tickets for scheduled service. Last year, regional airline operator SkyWest, which works with airlines such as American and United, asked federal authorities to operate its own “part 135″ charter service,” similar to JSX. American Airlines sent a letter asking the Department of Transportation to give clarity to the emerging business model because carriers such as JSX are “drawing on less stringent regulatory requirements to gain competitive advantage.”Southwest also weighed in. DeFazio also led an investigation into the causes of the Lion Air Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crashes, which killed a combined 346 people.
