Mayor Becky Daggett wrote in the Daily Sun on Oct. 14 that she looked 20 years into the future when deciding how to vote on Proposition 480. The earth doesn’t have any more time for excuses or ulterior motives. But NAH doesn’t seem to be so concerned, otherwise they would not have had to be asked by Council to build to LEED Gold standards and to include solar panels and charging stations. So it’s difficult to believe that they have actually considered all the options. Vote no on Proposition 480, and maybe NAH will reconsider taking responsibility for the huge contribution this will make to climate change and do a comprehensive analysis that includes the earth we all share, rather than just picking up and moving out of town.
