The Society further distanced itself from allegations of Karogo being involved in sponsoring political unrest in the country, adding that he is a well-respected constitutional lawyer and Pan-Africanist. ‘’We categorically reject as baseless the allegations citing unnamed sources, that Kagoro was involved in financing or coordinating political unrest in Kenya.

UDA sweeps all seats in mini polls
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) won all the four seats in a by-election marked by low voter turnout. Isiolo South constituency candidate Mohammed Tubi won the seat with 7,352 votes, trouncing his closest rival, Bina Tubi of the Jubilee party, who garnered 634 votes. The Western model and the system of values are currently threatened by eclectic and authoritarian models, in function of geopolitical interests. The global financial crisis of 2008 severely shook the Western model, highlighting a complex economic, financial and social problem. In reality, today there are no development models that can compete with the Western model, as the communist model claimed, struggled and failed, in the way it was conceived and functioned. There is a political crisis in the EU today, but this should not be allowed to deepen and expand into other components and, especially, a real crisis of the Western model should not be allowed to mature.
