A worrying problem has emerged throughout the European space, or in what is known as the Western model. The Western model and the system of values ​​are currently threatened by eclectic and authoritarian models, in function of geopolitical interests. The global financial crisis of 2008 severely shook the Western model, highlighting a complex economic, financial and social problem. In reality, today there are no development models that can compete with the Western model, as the communist model claimed, struggled and failed, in the way it was conceived and functioned. There is a political crisis in the EU today, but this should not be allowed to deepen and expand into other components and, especially, a real crisis of the Western model should not be allowed to mature.
