Sin-bins and blue cards in soccer – what do we know? Sin-bins have been trialled successfully at grassroots level and are now set to be tested higher up the chain. What’s this about blue cards? Two blue cards will also result in dismissal. Chequebook delays at AIB bank causing problems for farmersICSA Beef chair John Cleary has said he is deeply concerned about AIB Bank’s inability to issue replacement chequebooks to their customers to due to a supply issue. ICSA understands that AIB Bank is in the process of securing a new supplier for their chequebooks, and that it could take up to four weeks for the issue to be resolved. The inability to obtain replacement chequebooks not only disrupts these essential transactions but also hampers farmers' ability to conduct business efficiently. "The delivery of AIB cheque books to our customers recommences from 12th February. "Some customers may have experienced a temporary delay in the issuance of their cheque books after our previous cheque books supplier went into administration.

Swiftogeddon, is a night for fans to come together and worship at the altar of Taylor Swift, with deep cuts, extended mixes, fan favourites and all the hits. The Tortured Poets Department release party will be on in the Grand Social on Saturday, April 20. HMRC said an increase in the number of taxpayers, and a higher proportion of people with complicated queries, had affected its post and telephone services. In its latest performance update, HMRC said more taxpayers could 'help themselves' by using its online services. While conceding it needs to do more to improve its telephone and postal services, HMRC said there was 'more scope for our customers to help themselves' by using its online services. This is Money has been charting the woes of tax payers struggling to contact HMRC or facing unexpected hefty tax bills. In 2021 to 2022, HMRC responded to 39.5 per cent of post within 15 days, compared to 70.3 per cent the previous year.

The boy’s body was removed to Waterford University Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The scene was preserved for forensic examination and the local Coroner and Office of the State Pathologist were notified. Irish police said inquiries are ongoing and the results of the post-mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation. Gardai closed the road near the scene (Brian Lawless/PA)Police conducted searches of road verges around a property in the area on Friday afternoon. The car was removed from the scene at approximately 3pm.

New tenants spending almost €1,600 per month on rentMichael BoltonFigures published by the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) show the average rent for new tenants has increased to €1,598. The latest report from the RTB for Q3 2023 show the average rent for new tenants is higher than existing tenants, who are on average spending €1,357 per month. The average rent for new tenancies in Dublin in Q3 2023 was €2,113, or €325 (18.2 per cent) higher than the average rent for existing tenancies which stood at €1,788. The lowest monthly rents were in Leitrim where the standardised average rent in new tenancies stood at €853 per month. "Although rent levels are continuing to rise in both new and existing tenancies, standardised average rent levels in existing tenancies are lower than in new tenancies.
