This is the estimation considering the current bumper harvest experienced so far, as long as the crop season underway follows through the plan, reports myjoyonline.com. This will be the first impressive outing since the 2009/2010 crop season where a little above a million tonnes of cocoa beans were produced. It is also because, the source added, before the main crop season ended in June, harvest was far above the target for the year although it had an earlier forecast of 900,000 tonnes of cocoa beans production. According to the report, this year, there have been too many cocoa beans produced with some of the Licensed Buying Cocoa Companies, particularly the smaller players, having exhausted the seed funds provided them by COCOBOD.

JHS elective courses of students who cannot read or write to be reduced – Adutwum

It is, in his estimation, a measure that will solve the worry and unacceptable practice he has about students who cannot read or write, still given many elective subjects to do in school. He believes that instead, such students should be made to focus on literacy and writing skills courses more and for which reason this intervention is coming up now. He stressed, "Why is that student who cannot read being offered additional courses?” he quizzed, adding that "There will be interventions for those who cannot read or cannot write. Their elective courses will be reduced consequently."

The people live with unsightly waste disposal sites and places of convenience as heaps of refuse and deplorable toilet facilities pose an imminent danger to them. “But as you can see, we’ve had the elections, now we’re in the 8th month but we still have this disheartening Borla situation,” said the Assemblyman. “This Borla situation is very worrying, people are complaining every day and you and I know that this can cause airborne diseases or cholera or everything,” said the Assemblyman. Ghana named among fastest-growing major economies in Africa in 2021
