In a statement issued by the court, it has been observed that users of the facility abandon the dust bins provided at the washrooms and drop the used items directly into 'flush pot'. “In recent times we have experienced blockages in our sewage lines as a result of the improper disposal of waste. Sachet water bags, used sanitary towels wrapped in polythene bags, used condoms, used paper hand towels were all found in the sewage lines. Please take note that these items are to be disposed off by placing them in the dustbins provided in the washrooms. According to information from the Baatsona Police, the 10 were rescued at the Coastal Estates down, on the Spintex road. It continued that, "The young men who looked pale and malnourished had several marks of assault on their back. The statement gave the names of the suspects as Apostle Sunday, 27, from Akwa Ibom State, Monday Echeh, 25, from Edo State, Aboki O.C, 21, from Edo State, Patrick Odez, 26, from Cross River State, and Henry Ochuko, 26, from Edo states. As part of the arrest, the police also retrieved 14 Laptops from the house, the statement said. In the meantime, the suspects are in custody and are being processed for court as soon as possible.

The Legislator, however, intimated that it's about time the government secured official vehicles for Parliamentarians to perform their duties just like state officeholders. So if the agreement is that we are given a loan to purchase official vehicles, I think it is very wrong. She has about 5 military officers following her in two land cruisers. “Supreme Court judges have Land Cruisers; they were not given loans to buy their Land Cruisers. Ministers of State have Land Cruisers or official vehicles.
