Former MP’s son eyes NDC position to continue works of his father

My father is the late Samuel Nii Ayikwei Mankattah, former MP for this constituency who won the election and spent only six months on the seat. The aspirant was speaking ahead of the start of the constituency elections of the NDC in the area on Saturday, October 22, 2022. In all, there are 36 candidates vying for the various executive positions at the Odododiodio constituency, with approximately 2,400 delegates expected to cast their votes. Earlier, a statement by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said that the party had put elections in some fifteen constituencies in the country on hold.

Latest election survey by Global InfoAnalytics has predicted former President John Dramani Mahama as the preferred candidate to win the 2024 general elections. "The poll shows further that among voters who are likely to vote in the 2024 elections, JDM leads DMB 62% to 33%, representing a 29% lead. In the race between JDM and AKK, JDM leads AKK 60% to 36%, representing a 24% lead. "JDM lead DMB 69% to 28% and leads AKK by 29% to 69%. The Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, has explained why he responded to a social media post by GHOne TV about a regional minister fainting after a driver stole his GH¢17 million even though his name was not mentioned in the post. The post by GHOne TV reported that a regional minister collapsed after his driver bolted away with the stated amount, said to be proceeds from illegal mining (galamsey). "A Regional Minister collapses as his driver bolts with 17 million cedis galamsey proceeds. Driver is reported to be in Ivory Coast at the moment," parts of the post by GHOne read. Angry NDC Youth Lock Up Party Office In Yeji
Some irate youth of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Pru East Constituency of the Bono East Region have locked up the party office in Yeji. Captain Smart arrested by NIB
