Speaker roars, MPs bash Akufo-Addo’s ministers over absenteeism
Last week, Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin put the Finance Ministry business on hold following the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta’s absence in parliament. Ofori-Atta was supposed to appear before the house to respond to questions about the COVID-19 expenditure but failed to show up. The Speaker, addressing the subject, read a letter from the Transport Ministry signed by the Chief Director of the ministry, explaining that the minister, Kwaku Ofori Asiamah is unavoidably absent. He then raised questions about what exactly the words ‘unavoidably absent’ mean, adding that the continued absence of some ministers to respond to questions in parliament is something he [Bagbin] will not tolerate. Annoh Dompreh further argued that this should be the last time such a thing is happening.

Thief leaves note after stealing from a Pentecost Church at Bogoso

Amen.”These were the words of a thief (though not grammatically correct) after stealing from the English Assembly of the Church of Pentecost, Bogoso District in what appears to be a replica of the conversation between Jesus Christ and the thief on the cross. After stealing these items, the thief wrote a few words on the wall in red ink to indicate that he does not hate church. He asked God to bless him on the cross adding that it was only the thief that Jesus blessed on the cross.

20 residents arrested in Yirangu, Kubolunsi for killing an armed robber
