Crime & Punishment of Saturday, 10 January 2026Source: GNAChristopher Agboka, also known as Gbagbladza, a 90-year-old man at Datsiedu-Ziope, has reportedly been murdered by Edem Kpotsodzi, a 32-year-old farmer. Seth Adorvlo, the Assemblyman for the Ziope Electoral Area, confirmed the incident to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in a phone interview. When Agboka asked him to stop, saying the fruit was not yet mature, the suspect became infuriated. According to Adorvlo, Edem Kpotsodzi reportedly went back to his house, retrieved a knife, and attacked the deceased, stabbing him multiple times in the stomach. Adorvlo added that the suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended by the police and is currently in custody, assisting with investigations.
