NORTHBOROUGH — When a team has one or two sets of siblings on the same team, it can make for a fascinating team atmosphere. That is the case for the Westborough boys soccer team, which has a trio of brotherly combos: Colin and Quinn Campbell, twins Richard and Kevin Nuñes and Saad and Hamza Naseer. I don't think I've ever had three sets of brothers at the same time on the varsity team." But its not always brotherly love for the three sets of brothers. "The noisiest of the bunch would be Kevin," Hillier said.

SAO PAULO (Reuters) -Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro’s son and two members of his cabinet said on Friday that they had tested positive for COVID-19, bringing to four the number of close aides diagnosed since the far-right leader’s trip to the United Nations. The news comes three days after Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga announced that he had tested positive while on a trip to the U.N. General Assembly in New York. He tweeted that he had tested positive for COVID-19, adding that he had been vaccinated with the first dose of the Pfizer shot. “I have tested positive for #Covid19. Bianco’s press office said he is asymptomatic and isolated, adding that he had taken the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

This is for every Somali who wants to make movies,” Jama said, wearing a traditional Somali dress striped silver, yellow and green. She left Somalia when she was six and moved between Kenya and Uganda before settling in Cairo aged 19. African Union peacekeeping troops clawed back control of the capital in 2011 and the new Western-backed Somali government reopened the venue the following year. The building reopened again in 2020. Mogadishu resident Hassan Abdulahi Mohamed remembered spending half a Somali shilling on a movie ticket and one shilling on snacks at the theatre in the 1960s.

MetroWest Daily NewsI was not worried that this woman was nominated to the Supreme Court by Donald Trump. I respect the law, rule of law and the judicial system. I like lawyers and was confident that this woman would not squander her reputation in the service of any group. I certainly didn't think she would advocate the kind of vigilantism that the Texas anti-abortion law recently passed by the very incompetent (and likely impotent governor) has signed.) I don't think she would want history to record her as a pawn beholden to the apparently misogynistic men of Texas, subject to the astute critiques of the likes of Samantha Bee, Trevor Noah and Seth Myers.

Earlier this month, California’s state legislature unanimously passed a bill making it illegal to remove a condom during sex without consent. Many countries, including Switzerland, Germany and the U.K., already prosecute stealthing as a form of sexual assault. “‘Stealthing’ or removing a condom w/out permission isn’t just immoral, but it’s illegal,” tweeted assemblywoman Cristina Garcia, who has been pushing for related legislation for years. The current bill would recognize stealthing as sexual battery in the state’s civil code, allowing survivors to sue perpetrators for damages. Four years later, Brodsky hopes that Garcia’s second bill will help clarify why stealthing is harmful.

MetroWest Daily NewsI've seen a lot of opinion pieces lately about what we should do about the COVID-19 pandemic. One political party seems to be doing everything it can to end the pandemic and save lives. The core leadership of the other party has done everything it can to prolong the pandemic, and the dying. Remember that when the press and "moderate" politicians plead for bipartisanship and compromise. What kind of compromise should we have between stopping the pandemic and keeping it going?

A WHO listing would allow Novavax to ship to multiple developing nations that rely on WHO guidance for their regulatory decisions. It expects to file for regulatory authorization in the United States and European Union in the fourth quarter of 2021. Novavax’s COVID-19 vaccine production ramp-up has been fraught with delays and it is unclear how many Novavax shots will be available for the COVAX facility this year. Novavax said in August it was aiming to produce 100 million shots monthly by the end of the third quarter. Early studies suggest Novavax is effective at protecting against the contagious Delta variant of COVID-19, which has become dominant in many countries.

(Reuters) – Max Verstappen hit back with sarcasm on Thursday after seven times Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton suggested his young Red Bull rival was feeling the pressure of a first title tilt. “I’m so nervous I can barely sleep,” the Dutch 23-year-old told reporters at the Russian Grand Prix when Hamilton’s comments were put to him. Hamilton had earlier told reporters that he knew from experience what Verstappen was going through. The 36-year-old batted aside reported comments from Red Bull consultant Helmut Marko questioning how much pain he had really felt. It’s natural when a car lands on your head that you’re going to have some sort of discomfort,” he said.

Saied said on Wednesday he would rule by decree and ignore parts of the constitution as he prepared to change the political system. Attayar, Al Joumhouri, Akef and Ettakatol parties said in a joint statement that his move enshrined an absolute power monopoly. Saied has held nearly total power since July 25 when he sacked the prime minister, suspended parliament and assumed executive authority citing a national emergency. “The important thing is that there is unity for these political parties after their dispersal for years. ROME (Reuters) – Italy plans to give other countries 45 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines before the end of the year, three times its original pledge, Prime Minister Mario Draghi said on Thursday. In a video message to a U.S.-hosted global COVID-19 Summit, Draghi said his government had previously promised to donate 15 million doses of vaccine by the end of the year. We will donate another 30 million additional doses by the end of the year to reach 45 million,” he said. Leaders from developing nations warned the U.N. General Assembly this week that COVID-19 vaccine hoarding by wealthy countries meant new coronavirus variants might emerge as infections increase in many places. Chinese leader Xi Jinping, in a speech to the U.N. on Tuesday, repeated China’s aim to provide 2 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses to the world by the end of the year.

SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Pele delighted fans of his former club Santos on Wednesday after his daughter posted a video of him singing the club’s anthem as the three-time World Cup winner continues his recovery from colon surgery. The former Santos, Brazil and New York Cosmos player has been in hospital since the start of September and the 80-year-old has improved enough to post videos of him doing exercises and using a stationary bicycle. On Wednesday, a singing duo called Marcia and Mykon visited him in his room and together they sang the Santos song. Pele’s daughter Kely posted the video on her Instagram page. His public appearances were already being cut before the COVID-19 pandemic and since then he has made few unnecessary forays outside his house near Santos.

The Capital Pride Alliance will host the inaugural Colorful Fest, presented by Xfinity and Nissan, on Sunday, October 17. Organizers are hoping the event, which serves as a fundraiser for the Capital Pride Alliance and its GivePride365 Fund, which supports local charities and nonprofits, will become a new annual tradition, offering a fall-time event for the LGBTQ community to come together and celebrate its pride. The Colorful Fest will feature two parts: a block party and a street fair. Admission to the block party is $5, and all attendees must provide proof of vaccination to enter the parking lot. “Our goal is, as it is with the different stages of the Pride Festival, to show a variety of different types of talent,” Bos said.
