MetroWest Daily NewsI was not worried that this woman was nominated to the Supreme Court by Donald Trump. I respect the law, rule of law and the judicial system. I like lawyers and was confident that this woman would not squander her reputation in the service of any group. I certainly didn't think she would advocate the kind of vigilantism that the Texas anti-abortion law recently passed by the very incompetent (and likely impotent governor) has signed.) I don't think she would want history to record her as a pawn beholden to the apparently misogynistic men of Texas, subject to the astute critiques of the likes of Samantha Bee, Trevor Noah and Seth Myers.
